The Ku Klux Klan sucks ass. The KKK started right here in Tennessee. It began in Pulaski. I read that Pulaski is famous for the birth of The KKK. Who in their right mind would want to be famous for starting an organization that promotes hate? Nobody.
Last November the majority of Tennesseans voted for John McCain. After the election was over, the majority of Tennesseans admitted that race played a factor in how they voted. Voting against Obama because of his race was racism. I'm ashamed of those people.
I'd give the Ku Klux Klan a zero rating but the lowest that I can vote is 1.

The infamy of Ideology of groups such of the KKK reflects no less than the erroneous believe of NAZI Germany and Hitler to white supremacy power. Such ignorance is only practice by those hiding their faces behind white hoods due to the inability to accept diversity as what makes the USA the great nation it is despite its imperfection. Rational and educated individual will never support, endorse or approve KKK practices or activities that involve terrorist acts, discrimination, instigate violence and intimidation.

Intelligent people know that hundreds of years of history will not change overnight neither change the twisted and corrupt mindset of KKK followers. The KKK dream of total political and social power will never happen, the perfect white race-Aryan Nation will never be able to suppress the will of the American people and its humanity. People that dont embrace diversity and respect human rights are pure ignorant; the irony is that there so many uneducated people in the USA that share the KKK views today. In order to overcome adversity people must stand as one strong force to achieve a common goal not as a separate race, group or nation. America is a great country not for being a leader or large nation but the essence of the diversity of its people.

The primitive thinking of the KKK will never drive the Klan to accomplish its goal rather than continue failure just like it drove Nazi-Germany to the end during WWII; hatred is not the answer rather than respecting and accepting one another for whom we are and what we believe on. We are all equal under God and we are his creation, he loves all of us regardless looks, color, religion, language or country.

In todays rapidly evolving worldwide sophisticated society there should not be any tolerance for extremist groups such the KKK, its views or practices. Those that choose the radical path of evil should be judged and dealt with the full extend power of the law.

What actually was surprising to me was learning that they once were fairly powerful in NJ in the 1920's; at one point, they supposedly burned a cross up on Garrett Mountain in Paterson, a city chock full of Catholics, Jews, anarchists, and radicals. She wasn't a terrorist; she was a "freedom fighter". Blacks? Duke doesn't hate blacks. In fact, his family used to have a maid named Pinky, and she was one of the most loyal people he ever knew, more loyal even than the family dog. It might be comical in a twisted, demented sort of way if I didn't think that Duke, for all his alleged intelligence, seems to be deadly serious about all of the nonsense, and there are hordes of benighted sad-sacks out there who gulp this crap down with assiduous, unquestioning devotion.

History shows us that there have been at least three different phases of the KKK. The first was during Reconstruction, but it's power was broken by Northern military power or by the simple fact that the Democratic Party, which was the Klan without the sheets and hoods, took over in the South within a few years of the peace. The second phase of the Klan was after the turn of the century and was a reaction against the increasing influence of immigrant groups including Catholics and Jews. That Klan was powerful but peaked in the 1920's and promptly died after several scandals.  That Klan's goal was the continuing

The third phase of the Klan started in the Civil Rights struggles after WWII but after the passage of the Voting Rights Act, this group has shrunk to a few small cells of basically conspiracy buffs and anti-government types.
