These are criminals and hoodlums who terrorize law abiding USA citizens, steal and destroy property and actually hurt humans.;

Lol, look out he's got a can of paint!!! The Animal Liberation Front does not deserve to be on this list!!! My 4th grade class could have whipped this bunch of yahoos!!!
irishgit 03/13/2007
Dangerous, ignorant, barbaric hoodlums. They aren't pro-animal, they're anti-human.
Drummond 01/04/2006
They don't kill people. Don't belong on this list.
Donovan 12/13/2005
There is more to this organization than simply helping animals. I am all for animal rights as long as those rights do not endanger the rights and lives of people. This organization is under investigation and has been for many questionable and unethical acts. The old saying "two wrongs don't make a right" applies here!

Up The Alf!!! While some sit around and talk, some actually get up and do something. Once, it was socially acceptable to beat women, own slaves, make poor children work instead of educating them etc., as it is now somewhat socially acceptable to the masses that are mostly ignorant of what animal reasearch really is, horrible torture guised as science. Doing what is right may not always be popular but in the end it is these guys that will be in future history books as the 'Fathers of Animal Liberation'. If you were being experimented on yourself, I guarantee you would love the ALF!!!

Whilst I don't condone violent acts against people or property someone has got to draw attention to places like Huntingdon Life Sciences, etc. It's about time human beings respected other life forms on this planet. The Government should just make cruelty to animals illegal in every case and be done with it.
numbah16tdhaha 10/22/2004
A two only because animal testing sucks. Find better methods, you nutty bastards.

If corporations had their way human animals would be treated the same way as non-humans are now...we must be vigilant or that is our future.
ANIMALLOVER122 1 07/13/2004
I think ALF is one of the BEST!!! I dont think they are terrorists at all, they are really helpful to the animals and at least they get the job done! But i am more for PETA (people for the ethical treatment of animals)... If they were terrorists they would all be in jail... looky here im not in jail am i? NOPE! sorry peeps... but they are the BOMB (BEST)!!! lol

All I remember is picking clowns like these out of the North Pacific after some Japanese whaler sank their little boat with fire hoses as they tried to interrupt the whale hunt. They weren't to militant after spending a few minutes in the cold water
neolex 06/06/2004
loonies, but i wouldnt call them terrorists
ironlaw 05/31/2004
Loonies.

militiamedic - humans are made of meat too. should we become cannibals? anyway, I'm all for animal rights but groups like the ALF tend to alientate the mass of people occupying the 'centre' ground. threatening research scientists is self-defeating and not very clever
bonsai_dave 04/13/2004
I am against terrorism. But I support animal liberation. Animals are suffering NOW, we must act now.
Enkidu 12/05/2003
Interesting that everyone I have known who supported these people was kind to animals, but completely incapable of loving or being kind to human beings.
YouAintThere 09/24/2003
Animals need help too.
mikeholly93 09/17/2003
I am opposed to the killing of wild (especially endangered) animals for fun and luxury but these people are the extreme radical animal right fanatics. They will probably kill people who eat meat, poultry, and seafood and i love to eat meat, poultry, and seafood so I will be scared of them. Also, they are disrupting plans to help find cures for diseases by commiting crimes against medical research labarotories. I rather go for conservative peaceful animal rights groups, not these terrorists.

I'm all for animal rights, and I am totally against wearing fur, but I don't think that the ALF always thinks about the full implications of their actions. Recently, they've claimed responsibility for releasing mink from a farm in Washington. Though 80% were captured, 1000 were still at large. In turn, the mink attacked livestock and exotic birds in the area, killing many animals, incluidng geese, chickens, ducks, even wounding a dog on one farm. Another website even lists cats as being reported missing in the mink attacks. In 1998, another case of released farm-raised minks (in England, by another activist group) almost caused an endangered water vole to become extinct. These kinds of actions can cause serious problems in the ecosystem. Although I am against the practices of these fur farms, I don't think that releasing captive-raised animals out into the wild without proper introduction is the best thing to do. I'm no supporter of violence. In fact, I hate when people use it as a way to say "We're right", but when Great White sharks were being slaughtered to the point of endangerment, ALF came in and stopped it. Sharks are important to our eco-system, balance of the ocean, and food chain. Only ALF at that time realized it. They also realized sharks could help us find a cure for cancer. ALF helped our economy by speaking up. And I couldn't be more pleased with them.
militiamedic 06/16/2003
Hey if we are not suposed to eat animals why do they make them out of meat.
NeskowinMorgan 05/12/2003
ANimals need rites now, but violence is not the way to get to it!!!
Redoedo 04/28/2003
I am absolutely appauled at how some people treat their animals. However, this group is seriously demented. Violence and destruction of property is no way to get your message across. These lunatics break into local zoos and free animals that are being "mistreated". Those animals in the zoo probably live a lot better than these people do.
Brooke1980 04/14/2003
I think its absolutely awful what people are able to do to animals...tortuous experiments, forcing them to live entirely in cages omly to be killed or fur, etc.I have much more compassion for innocent animals than I do for companies and individuals who make a business of this exploitation. I agree that violence can be the only way to save thousands of animals RIGHT AWAY!!, since courts aren't reasonable....What would you do if these were humans? In case you've never had a pet, i'll tell you...they love, want, and SUFFER just like us!
IRA_4_life 03/21/2003
Damn ENV idiots. Death to those m*****f******

What a bunch of environmentalist whackos. I bet they didnt know if people didnt hunt deer, everybody would be hitting them on the road. And they really ARE terrorist.
DeathRattle 08/12/2002
Animal rights activists are bad enough (because they don't understand that animals were put for us to use or the life cycle that every creature and being follows). Anyone who goes to this extreme is a hypocrite. Would you kill a human to save any type of animal (roaches, spiders, snails.....they're all animals too) that is not your pet?
CastleBee 06/24/2002
Violence has never been a good way to get your point across. As a matter of fact, it usually creates stronger feelings in favor of the opposite view. Moral issues aside – and there are many – this group’s tactics have all the earmarks of a spoiled child’s tantrum. There are better, more mature ways of dealing with these issues.
