Left Behind: The Movie 4

First of all, the movie is not "foreign film". Secondly, it is based on a wrong interpretation of the Scripture which clearly denies the teachings of Jesus Christ regarding the end times. The escapism theology is very popular in some Christian circles, and as such, both the book and the movie sells good. The story is well written and the acting is good tho. I will rate the movie even as I do not agree with the content.

Left Behind: The Movie 3

Not going to argue with a person's faith but the movie was just O.K. Kudos to Kirk Cameron for trying to reach out to non-believers.

Left Behind: The Movie 5

Left behind was the best movie I have ever seen.It tells exactly what the bible says.It is confusing in the beging, but then very informal. The graphics, sound affects, and directing where great.I reccomend everyone to rent this movie because it is not a wate of money it is worth more than what it costs.

Left Behind: The Movie 5

Would love to see more of these. Hollywood is making more trashy films, and despite the fact they are rated, adults stilllet children tag along. I am tired of Hollywood being the Sodom of Gommorah and Babylon, that is why I don't hardly go to movies anymore. Even my Television is practically turned off now. I do more reading, things that will up lift instead of the SMUT I view.

Left Behind: The Movie 3

Ok, let me start of by saying this film was decent. I was a huge fan of the books and was extremely excited to for the release of this movie. I was however dissapointed. When are we gonna see a quality Christian film? I get tired of the same old cheap filming and poor acting. I would suggest to the film makers that before making the next one "Tribulation" please, spend some money and make it right. I am dissapointed to say, that I have no reason to watch this film again. It does get a 3 star for the fact that it did stick to the book and it collected some fine actors ( though their talents were wasted ). Nicole Carpathia was about as scary as a moth and Buck Williams was poorly prtrayed. I do have to give my support for Ken Ritz. So , in all, if you have 2 hours to watch a movie, it is worth the one time rental fee, but no more.

Left Behind: The Movie 1

Like the book it was based on, Left Behind: The Movie just shows how arrogant some Christians can be about their faith. For thousands of years, people have been saying that the world is going to end soon, but the world is still here. The same is true today. The world is not going to come to an end any time soon, despite what this pretentious film tries to convince its audience. Anyone who says this movie contains the truth is a liar. They could not possibly know that this movie is true, and it is dishonest to claim otherwise.

I am not a Biblical scholar, but not totally illiterate either. From what I have observed since becoming a Christian, there seem to be as many opinions about the “Rapture” as there are people – all of them claim certain passages in the Bible to backup their viewpoint – pre-tribulation, post, not at all. I did enjoy this movie to a point but, as I do with most any film, book or personal opinion, I took it with a grain of salt. It merely depicts an interpretation – an educated guess by someone with a pre-tribulation view. Whatever actually takes place should be an interesting topic of discussion and study, but not a point of division. As for me, my beliefs are simple. I am assured that I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. When He returns - as He has promised and as the final prophecy reveals He will – I have complete faith that I will know Him - because I already do.

This was a boring movie. The acting was bad, the plot was bad, and the storyline was difficult to follow. The idea was good but it was not executed well. Do not waste your money to rent this thing.

This movie can really show the truth about what is really going to happen. It is a very moving movie and a great witnessing tool. I took as many people as possible to this movie. To people who think that the rapture won't happen, you will be sorry when you are left with termoil and grief. I hope that with writing this that you will check out this possibilty of that happening. Anyone that is reading this, please believe.

Not as good as the book, but that is the norm. A very touching and realistic movie.

Left Behind: The Movie 5

I saw the Left Behind movie and I thought it was very well done! I read all the books and I think the movie having not been edited by Hollywood "standards" stayed very much along the story in the Left Behind book. I can understand why some might be threatened by the truth of the movie and I am sure that when Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye went ahead with the movie idea they were fully aware that some would react in a critical way. I once heard a man of God say that the cross is offensive in it's content, because it calls a person to be aware of thier own accountability. So it makes sense that anything referring to Christ and the cross will offend those that reject it. Having the truth of Christ given in this movie brings up the fear that unbelievers experience just like I did the first time I read the book of revelation as a non-believer. I think the acting was very refreshing.

Left Behind: The Movie 4

It was so refreshing to go to a movie we didn't have to walk away feeling guilty about. Left Behind takes a look into the possibly not-so-distant future as it relates to the book of Revelation in the Bible. The movie was apparently produced on a shoe-string budget, and, in spite of the lack of funding, was an extremely well done movie. It speaks to the heart of the matter - the importance of having a relationship with Jesus Christ - and not being "left behind". All the missing people - adults saved through their faith in Christ - and of course the innocent children - were "raptured" to heaven. There's plenty of action to keep youth attentive to the story line, and adults will find it intellectually stimulating. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and highly recommend it!
