 | oscargamblesfro (81) 04/06/2006 | Well, he's gone now anyhow. Nomar may be the greatest shortstop in Red Sox history, he certainly is for his peak value, but his time with the Cubs was plagued by injuries, and quite brief anyway.

 | 1JohnDoeFan (5) 12/12/2004 | Yes I created this Weblist pertaining to the individuals performance as a Cubbie. Greatest Chicago Cub, has a good catch to it. I would have to give Nomar a 3 as to his performance last season. Hopefully during the 2005 season I will bump this up to a 4. :)

 | Davis21Wylie (1) 12/11/2004 | I'm assuming we're talking about players simply in the context of their performance as a Cub, so Nomar wasn't terrible, but his body of work in Chicago is pretty miniscule. Do I think he can be one of the best? Sure; he's still a fantastic hitter with above-average power, plus one of the best fielding SS's in the NL. He's also still young, so if he stays in Chicago and continues to post his patented .300, 25 HR, 90-100 RBI seasons, he will move right up this list.
