Although I just want slash my wrists from the extreme depression her music brings about I still love it. That dreamy, etheral angel-like voice gives me chills and the melancholy theme of this song and the tragedy of the video enhances the sombre, aching lyrics.

Dido is a great artist. I love her singing and her regular style. I like the way her voice sound and her music is great, but the video for "thank you" kinda misses the point of the regular song. the house falling down only goes with a small portion fo the song. She obviously looks kinda upset in this vid. I kinda like the natalie imbruglia feel to the vid, mild and relaxing, but it could be better. I really don't have much to say about the vid.

This is very unimaginative and Dido is not an amazing showperson or singer. Many unknowns have much more talent. I do not care for her songs to date.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Dido.I have since I bought her CD when it first came out some odd years ago. (I can't bring myself to desert her just because she went mainstream.) I'm just not a huge fan of this song or video. The first time I watched it, I just kinda sat there, perplexed, wondering what any of that house bulldozing had to do with the song itself.Even when I eventually got that it was meant for the part 'even if my house falls down then I wouldn't have a clue'. all she needed was her love, etc, etc, It still kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I think that there were considerably better ways to portray that she could get through anything as long as she had her love. This was, well, stupid and confusing. I liked her video for 'here with me' better before it got glamorized, too. I guess I just have to face the fact that once the ugly mainstream-catering to the masses monster rears it's head there's just no way to escape.

Like the song (well till radio killed it), but the video is rather boring. Points though for Dido being clothed & looking very pretty.

Dido's extravagent vocals are excellent but i like the techno version better!

Visually this video is very eye catching with lots of colors and nice camera angles. But still, this video is very unmemorable. It has no real story that I can find. It is about a girl getting her house destroyed. It might have some underlying meaning since her house is in the middle of some concrete jungle and her house is all homey and surrounded by shrubbery. I would have expected the video to this song to have had more punch. It is sad when the Emenim video that samples this same song (Stan) packs more punch and has a solid story. Nice looking none the less.
