It's a waste of air time & time out of people's lives. The categories are ridiculous such as the best on screen kiss!!! please, lets focus on the acting instead of how someone can turn young viewers on!

You know, I think that I should faint if MTV actually made something the least bit enjoyable. Like everything else on MTV, this so-called 'awards show' is just a showcase for MTV's typical mindless drivel. Offensive things are done for shock value and profanity, of course, is present. And, like the Oscars, nothing I enjoy ever wins!

Okay, I love the between-award sequences (funny as hell, at times), the laid-back style, the hosts (most times), the presenters, the category ideas, and idea of the people voting... but I do not like the stereotypical MTV-viewing population's opinions and I think that some stupid movies win these awards and some good movies are left out. How come you never see a movie like Lord of the Rings just SWEEP the awards, taking almost every one home? Because it's boring to bubblegum-chewing teenagers? There's awards for Best Onscreen Team and your're telling me that Fast and the Furious' Paul Walker and Vin Diesel win??? Man, there's no end to MTV fans' stupidity sometimes...

I like these awards, people get to vote. Awards are giving to movies that a lot of people have seen. Sure some of the people are outlandish, some stupid(probably drunk) and some are funny. The spoofs on the movies are funny. They have categories the Oscars would not dream of having. It's a fun award show.

I'm a teenager, and even I can tell you that this is a joke. The choices of movies and actors are so terrible that it pains me to watch movies like Pearl Harbor win awards aside from special effects.

At times even worse than the music awards. This year's left too much to desire. Nothing exciting or new.
