 | cdoc77 (2) 09/06/2006 | In the Bush administration, fear is the persuader and Bush is the decider.

 | Vudija (92) 02/27/2006 | He's certainly persuasive to most of the country, but it doesn't mean it's a quality worth posessing. As King said; we do have to give him credit for his ability to convince the majority of America of some of the actions he's taken over the years.

 | 714goodguy (1) 02/26/2006 | It's amazing the amount of persuasiveness President Bush has over half of the United States. It seems that half of this county feels that he can do no wrong.

 | emj5687 (3) 04/10/2005 | he somehow persuaded enough ppl to vote for him to get re-elected...though he sure as hell didnt persuade me. update....pbeavr it seems to me you're making a vast generalization. yes there are liberals angry that bush was re-elected who make statements like well they're just stupid and dont back up what they're saying but you see people like that in the republican party as well. i personally dont know any liberals that go around thinking they are so much smarter than republicans, they may think that they are right and republicans are wrong but they tend to be able to justify their beliefs with something more than a statement about intelligence.

 | The Waffler (1) 10/24/2004 | I can only speak for myself but W's ability to persuade is woefully lacking.

 | kingbaby (0) 11/18/2003 | Yep...he persuaded us into a mess. For that, we have to give him credit.

 | BIGBABY (10) 05/20/2003 | I think Bush really tries to persuade people to support him. He seems sketchy at moments during his speech's and tends to repeat himself too much. Still, he has gotten much more support over the last few weeks. Colin Powell has really helped to persuade countries.

 | Redoedo (39) 05/18/2003 | He sure as hell hasn't persuaded me of anything. Most people tend to forget that his approval ratings were mediocre prior to 9/11 (mid 50s), and then following 9/11, he was in the 80s and 90s. Hmm... its amazing that he can do something that would make him so popular in such a short time. Give me a break! Now, Bush has a 70% approval rating after a steady five months of being in the 50s. I think that we should all agree that that extra 20% added on there AFTER the war started is simply because Americans support the troops and the country, not the President.

 | TheFreak (3) 03/07/2003 | Apparently he's managed to persuade a few people of just about anything (however, they are probably the type who was going to blindly follow him anyway), but he sure as hell hasn't persuaded ME of anything - except that he's kind of being a mule right now.

 | Compie (0) 02/11/2003 | Bush certainly persuaded me, a life-long Republican, to vote Democratic - so I guess that is persuasiveness of a sort.

 | NickDanger (0) 02/10/2003 | He's got pretty decent persuasive skills, the problem is he deploys them in service of some truly god-awful ideas. He'd be more successful in this category if more people were brainless idiots.
