Ughhh today's Jackie Chan is awful. The old school Jackie Chan would kick his a** in a real fight. Today's Jackie Chan is more concerned with unneccesary stunts.

This movie was pretty good it's just that I'm annoyed by Jackie Chan always fighting in his movies!

this movie was just ok because it was kind of cheesy. It had it's funny moments and I enjoyed the bloopers but the people supposed to be Charlie Chaplin, Conan O'doyle and Jack the ripper were pretty stupid. Most of the teenagers I know wouldn't even know who those people are and wouldn't get the joke. Other than that the story line was dumb. But I guess when you have action and comedy good story lines aren't necessary. It's sad that those are the kinds of movies that we are watching today, not great movies but just ok movies.

Hilarious! On par with Shanghai Noon. If you liked the first one then you'll like this too.

Not one of Jackie Chan's best movies (better than Tuxedo, though, trust me), but it had its moments. It's kind of fun to watch if you ignore the mind-numbing historical inaccuracies and flashbacks to old jokes from the previous movie. It also seemed to reference and give tribute to a lot of things ("Singing in the Rain", for example, not to mention the music choices), but it broke up the flow of the movie for me. Plus modern slang injected into it ("This country blows." . . . . I don't think they had "blows" as a slang term back then . . . ). Barring all that, it was just an average movie, and sadly a below-average Jackie Chan movie. He's done a LOT better.

Very well executed film. It's not rocket science but it delivers great action sequences and some really funny moments as well. My favourite scene was when Jackie Chan fought off the street burglers in London and used hilarious props, such as an umbrella, a canopy roof and almost every piece of fruit imaginable. The choreography was creative, so it was entertaining to watch. I've always liked Owen Wilson's comic sensabilty as well and he plays the role of the boaster with nothing to back it up, perfectly. I also enjoyed the interesting pop culture references that were thrown in for fun. For example the detective at Scotland Yard who became the author of Sherlock Holmes, and picked the name of the character because Owen Wilson's character used it as a disguise at a party.

Anyone who saw the Shanghai Noon know that Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan are pretty damn funny together. Shanghai Noon doesn't introduce much new stuff - but the interaction between Wilson and Chan combined with good fight scenes make this movie worth seeing in the theater. The pillow fight scene was absolutely hysterical, as are the bloopers. In terms of simple, mindless entertainment, you can't beat it.

This movie wasn't as good as the first, which most sequels usually are not, but it had its moments. There was more comedy than real action sequences in the movie, but the action scenes were very well done in my opinion. Then, of course, there is the tribute to Singing in the Rain. That in itself gave this movie my vote. There were also many older songs throughout the movie, such as 'Time of the Season' and 'One'. Also, the out-takes at the end of the movie are alone worth going to see the movie! I would suggest kicking back with a group of friends late at night and watching this movie sometime to anyone.

Kudos to Jackie Chan, but an otherwise unfunny scattershot comedy with weak action scenes, and average direction.
