Kimmel is a likable host. He has some interview skills and the show will book musical acts that do not normally appear on the late night shows.

  He's pretty funny, he's a very good comedy writer, but seriously, does he REALLY deserve to be married to Sarah Silverman?! Isn't tht like dating outside your species? Sarah is one very funny,  very smart and very sexy lady comedienne - she makes me wish I were Jewish! I may even convert. I seriously never knew kosher could look that appetizing! Jimmy Kimmel gets 5 stars for Sarah ALONE.

This show is like being in limbo. I don't recognize any of the guests, it isn't funny, it doesn't make me angry, it doesn't move me in any way. It is kind of like elevator music, it doesn't really do anything, it is just there.

I don't like him or his show. Uncle Frank is terrible, every bit cousin Sal does seems racist, and Jimmy's crank yanker puppets suck too. I thought that show would be off t.v. by now.

The guy is just plain hilarious. Such innovative comedy and skits. Some things are better than others but you just can't beat his monologue.

Not as good as it should be. Jimmy seems uncomfortable during monologue. Conan is the best, Dave a close second. Jay, Jimmy and Craig are all whatever. Kimmel Show just isn't what it could be.

Kimmel is arrogant and a poor comedian. Seems like a kid who had a connection more than a gifted comedian. Sad comedy is so political that talent is obscured. Most recently offended by Kimmel's jokes over California flood victims on 1/10/05. Wrote ABC and sponsors but this show should come off just because it is poor quality.

His jokes are similar to Bob Sagget, only he is alot lamer. I like his interviews but God is he lame.

Jimmy is a Fantastic act to add to nighttime television, I was seriously getting bored with the top 10 list with David Letterman, Sorry Dave, I still love and Respect you. But Jimmy Makes me Laugh my Butt off. He is Crazy! We all need to relax and enjoy ourselves in the evenings and Jimmy gives us that with himself, Sweet Uncle Frank and Crazy Cousin Sal. Anyone who doesn't like Jimmy Kimmel is a complete Squarehead. The man is outright funny! Give him his props. Even when he doesn't have a good guest his show is still good just because of his personality. Thanks Jimmy Kimmel for giving me laughter late in the evenings after a long hard day. I know you will be around the next 20 years. Keep it up!

a pile of puke is more exciting than jimmy kimmel. seriously, why is this show ranked so high; he's not even funny. they took it off the air at one time in my area because of low ratings.

This is the best late night show, I laugh constantly it is much funnier than any other late night show.

Jimmy is a terrific host, very funny and a good interviewer. The show has great writers and the guest are usually entertaining. I especially like the musical guests. Good rock is hard to find these days.

I have watched just about every show since it debuted after the super bowl a couple of years ago, and can honestly say this show is off the chain. I didn't think a off-centre comedian like Kimmel could be a talk show host. But boy was I wrong. Brilliant! Awesome! Sorry Letterman ;)

Well, it becomes obvious as to why Jimmy and Carson Daly are friends, not the brightest bulbs in the chandelier, Jimmy is quite adept at interviewing and is often enjoyable but his comedy bits are still as clunky and unfunny as they were on The Man Show Watch it but dont expect big laughs.

I understand how Kimmel's humor may be distasteful to some...but I think it's great. I have seen every show since about the 3rd or 4th week and he is definately improving! He jumped into this w/o a clue as to how to host a late night show and I think he has done an excellent job. It being live and the different co-hosts weekly is fresh and new. I think over time he will be up in ratings w/ the other top dogs of late night. I wish him luck and hope that it works out well for him.

The humor on Jimmy Kimmel Live is well below average. Really lame and obvious comments make it seem this show really was made for complete idiots. I thought he may be able to be better than Craig "Kilboring", but he has yet to acheive that kind of mediocrity. I hope a cancellation is in the near future. ABC (disney)has failed themselves once again

This is actually the only talk show that i never miss. That cousin Sal is hilarious!

I think that Jimmy Kimmel's show is very entertaining. We're all tired of Leno and his democratic directed jokes and Dave Letterman is never even on his show anymore. I like Jimmy Kimmel's show because it's so unique and we never know what's going to happen. He's not timid to say "Hey this is MY show and this is what we're going to do!" Although Jimmy Kimmels opinions may not be respected, we should respect him for not restricting what he thinks just because he's on ABC. Jimmy Kimmel is like that next door neighbor you hear screaming (drunk) every Sunday cheering on his football team. He's just a normal guy (with talent) who happens to have his own TV show. He's done what all of us are afraid to do, give his honest opinion.

Jimmy Kimmel Live On ABC is the most mind blowing show on TV. His show has the guests do and say things they can't on Leno, Kilbourne, Letterman, O' Brien, his show beats all. It's kinda like shock television, you never know whats gonna happen and when something does, its always funny and its always amazing, me and my friends used to watch Conan but since Kimmel came along we don't miss it, i live in the Midwest so it comes on at midnight, but it's more than worth it staying up. Kimmel is the new king of late night, and Johnny Carson would be proud! Jimmy Kimmel Live I sulute you.

This show is great. It is free form and fun to watch. I mean I like Conan, but I enjoy Jimmy Kimmel Live much more. I believe that he will soon get more A-list stars, but he doesn't need them. The format is always open to change and refiguration. My only complaint is not with the show, but with my ABC affiliate who chooses to air it at 1:05 AM central time. I have to Tivo it in order to watch it.

Jimmy's shown that through anything, he can get by. The show just keeps getting better! I haven't missed a night yet (except one when I was out of town and TiVo forgot damnit) and don't plan too. Tyson and his pigeons....damn that's great TV! As time goes on, his bookers will have problems turning the A-List away. This is one show that will always be at the top of its game and gaurantee a good time for those on it and those watching.

This show has built-in components that help every night be out of control. The co-hosts only last a week, so they never fall into a rythem, the show is live and has lots of elements that add to the unpredictability. Jimmy isn't a good interviewer and doesn't get many A-list celebs, but if you like seat-of-your-pants entertainment, this is it.

Absolutely over the top!! Everyone else can baste in their 'prepackaged and over-edited' favorite talk shows (Conan, Letterman, Kilborn, Leno...) but I'm here for the long-haul. Jimmy mixes 'reality tv' in a talk show format!! It is always the first thing that is talked about at work every morning around the water cooler. Not bad, but not all that great either. As possibly the weakest "late night" entry on television, Jimmy Kimmel Live is mediocre at best, with no real surprises and few memorable moments. Jimmy Kimmel is horrid in his own show. His comic acts are weak. However, his co-hosts which range from Sarah Silverman to Anna Nicole Smith are always hilarious, and overpower the stale feeling of the series. The guests have been quite good so far, but to make this series better, they need to first get rid of Jimmy himself.
