 | daedalus (33) 12/09/2005 | I used to be a big fan of this show until Terry Gross started trying to make it more about herself than the guest. Maybe I was lured in by that sultry voice, but there seems to be just a bit too much conceit for me to listen without gripping the steering wheel so hard I nearly wreck. Sometimes the questions are way beyond the guest and it makes for an awkward interview and other times its really effective. That inability to not gauge the questions very well is noticeable.

 | luridlloyd (9) 12/19/2004 | I am always glad when I hear Fresh Air is comming on. It is a show about popular culture. I can't believe some of the reviewers can make this political. I havn't heard anything about this Bill O'Rielly thing. Was there heavy breathing and Adult toy talk by Bill?

 | Jimmie (2) 10/14/2004 | I've listened to this show several times. Some programs have been interesting but much of the time Ms Gross' bias shows through. A few evenings ago she was introducing a replay of a forum about the Bush National Guard documents. The panel members were (guess who?) Dan Rather, Peter Jennings and some other network newsman. Ms Gross started her introduction by says that the documents were inauthentic. That's an interesting way of spinning documents that are forgeries. My dictionary does not have the word inauthentic in it.

 | Randy Campbell (0) 09/30/2004 | A fantastic talent, insightful, probing, and well researched. By the way, Bill O'Reilly throwing a childish tantrum only to storm off the air does not constitue shutting Ms. Gross up. Now the Gene Simmons interview might have given her some pause...

 | Daniel D Miller (0) 09/09/2004 | Terri Gross's shows have always lived up to the name of the show, Fresh Aire. She researches her shows diligently, ask's very insightful questions, with an intellectual wit not excelled.

 | TriSec (2) 08/06/2004 | This is good stuff. I've bought many albums and books after hearing about them on this show, and I've never been disappointed.

 | jagman28782 (5) 10/23/2003 | Fresh Air, what a joke! This show should be called Biased Air. Bill O' Reilly came on there and shut up her and her liberal slant. This show, along with NPR itself show be dissolved and wiped out of everyone's memory.

 | DonAlejandro (0) 03/25/2003 | Terry Gross is the best interviewer I have ever heard. She always has interesting guests, and asks insightful questions that seem to bring out the best in her subjects. One gets the feeling that when Gross asks a question, she is sincerely and genuinely interested in the answer, and this earnestness almost invariably comes out in the guests as well. Easily my favorite talk/interview show in any media.
