A combination bar, nightclub, and art gallery. In the evenings, when the bar is open, the music (usually house) is way too loud and precludes spoken conversation. The gallery is decent—I’ve seen some cool pieces here. The atmosphere is young, fashionable, and boisterous.

What I like most about 111 is the two room lay-out. The music is usually really good, depending on who is throwing a party there, but on any average night, its pretty lame. The crowd is def diverse and has a fun feel (again, depending on whose throwing the party there). They should accept credit cards, at least at the main bar. Average drink pours, great art work up (which is constantly changing, i likkke), a place to swing by once every 3 months. not bad, not great

Fun on Tuesday between 7 and 10 pm, a lot of international people. Drinks are not the cheapest in the town but the crowd is pretty and the music is good.

I really like this venue for private parties.  I was at a launch party for Netvibes at 111 Minna last night, and the venue was perfect. There's multiple bars, two big rooms, plenty of cool art on the walls, and high ceilings.  It's right off the Montgomery Bart station so it's easy to get to.  The place just feels classy, and really works for special occasions.
