"Love Is" is really great, it's tiny cute messages of a strong feeling we know as Love (mostly for partners in this case)

A friend of mine once introduced me to this strip and I've been a fan ever since.

Keeping with the tradition of the original strip, it's mostly delivered from the viewpoint of a woman, but I guess it's equally enjoyable by both gender.

What I like is it tries to bring out those unspoken words or subtle gestures that make you feel loved by your partner. Modern day couples could take few tips from here and get that in use in their own relationships.... I'm no Oracle, but I would assume that could make wonders with number of people deciding to stay in a long term relationship.

"Love is.." just about the cutest thing on the newspaper. I look forward to reading it every morning. "Love is.." is not just for romantics like me but it also applies to every situation there is surrounding everything and everyone we love. I am absolutely in love with it. I collect it as well. I write poems about it. I wouldn't want it to see it retired. I don't think of it in a negative way. I just absolutely love it for the romantic love story that it is and I appreciate the artist behind it, the creator of it and the family that keeps it going. Love is.. the best!!!

Two naked kids talking about love. Very disturbing. Also, not a very interesting comic - every situation is exactly the same, and frankly, love isn't this simple.

Their wearing no clothes! Creepy.

Strangely disturbing, way too sugary. Love is a lot of things; nude preteens ain't one of 'em.

Love is a very cute comic that brings a smile or thought to everyone's feeling and besides that i think there wonderful that i collec them:D

To me this is the best comic ever. It always has something nice to sayand related to love which by the way we need a lot more these days. To me its off the charts and I cant get enough of it.

Simple and inspiring

As Homer Simpson put it: "You know what you two need? A little comic strip called 'Love Is...' It's about two naked eight-year-olds who are married." So if you reads the comics for "cute" I guess it might be OK, but I read the comics for "funny", and these 2 naked 8-year olds just creeped me out, not funny at all.

I've had the Blues the Reds and Pinks, but one things for sure honey...Love Stinks!!! ~Erg!

Can't we give minus points? This rubbish deserves it, and always has. It's for prepubescent girls.

I just wish they had more of this comic in the newspapers and also where I live (Florida) Merchandise, books, stamps,greeting cards,rubberstamps,pocket cards,stationaries,keychains,bumperstickers,clothin g,well...u name it. I loooove that comic and they all have a nice thing to say and brighten anybody's day.Please bring it back ;)

Love is comic strips are spectacular, profuse, powerful with the meaning of love, and is ultimately submerging with tactic writing and drawings that is evoked with the limitation of indulgence.

the true creator to this comic strip died. she made this with the passionate love for her husband who died before she died. she made these comic strips on a daily bases. when she died, her son followed her footsteps in continuing with making love is comic strips.

this comic strips dates way back in the 1970's. i forgot what year it really started, but i know it dates way back in the 1970's. it's translated in many different languages and there's a picture that specifiy the quote of the comic stip.

Love Is..... is LOVE IS

Love Is a part of alot of people's life. There are so many things that happen in our life that happen on the same day the LOVE IS posted. And they mean alot to share them with my wife again. She has kept everyone that I have givin her, and I can go back 11 years and tell you what they all had to do with in my life. My dad has collected everyone that has had to do with him and my mother since they started being put in the Omaha World Herald. He has a great collection and I hate to see it stop now. PLEASE PUT IT BACK ON. It helps heal the heart.

LOVE IS SHOWS ALL TYPES OF EXPRESSIONS THAT COUPLES CAN GO THRU FROM GOOD TO BAD AND IT HAS MANAGE FOR ME TO LOOK FORWARD TO SOMETHING IN THE PAPER EVERY DAY! I LOVE IT AND WISH I COULD HAVE VERY ISSUE FROM DAY ONE...ANY HELP OUT THERE????

I've been collecting the "Love Is..." comic panel since 1993, which is when I first found out about it, & I love it! Wish they'd bring back more merchandise to the US, but other than that, (to me), this is the best comic out there. (Oh & I'd love to see it done in color in the US, as it is done in some other countries, even if only for the Sunday paper. Just a thought.) Collecting the "Love Is..." panel can be a great hobby & it can also be quite addicting, especially once you find the merchandise that IS out there. Thanks Kim for this gift, & thanks even more to her son, Stefano, who has kept it going since she passed away in 1997. :-) "Love is patient, Love is kind...Love never ends" 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 <†>< I hope the "Love Is..." panel never ends! :-D (Side note: The "Love Is..." panel was scheduled to "no longer be a feature of the 'Los Angeles Times'" "effective April 20, 1995." However, due to the high volume of letters & phone calls the "Times" received from the "Love Is..." fans out there, such as my father & myself, they decided to continue to run it in their paper. Thanks to all who wrote or phoned in to the "Times" to keep it alive!) :-D

this strip is wonderfully great even though Kim's son is following his mother's foot steps! it's still wonderful even though kim casali or her son did not draw the pictures. It's a legend that will always exist for days to come because it's remarkably every were translated for everyone to understand and is still alive with TRUE LOVE meanings!!!

Love is, is basically a comic strip that is created everyday and posted online and in the newspapers. the creator of love is basically places a meaning of what love is and the picture resembling the meaning. it's what makes my day so happy and the drawing'a are so magnificent and cute.
