He has great numbers and is a fantastic blocker at the reciever possition. No team in the league would turn him down. He does the most with the least. He can out run you, and he is definately not taller than you, but you still can't stop him.

Ok, to be a reciever, you can't just catch the ball, you have to block and hit. Hines can do it all. He can block and catch the ball. For all you people out there who says Hines is terrible, just look at his accomplishments. MVP of the Super Bowl, went to four staight pro bowls, and has the steeler reception record. Just look at the acomplishments, he is one of the greatest recievers in the NFL.

Hines Ward is the best all around WR in the NFL. He gives 110% every play. Catches nearly everything as evidenced by the fact he lead the league in 2004 with the highest % of catches when targeted. He is also the best blocking WR in the game. Tough as nails and all heart. Wouldn't trade him for any other player in the league.

Hines Ward is a wonderful player. He is my all time favorite in the NFL. Hes a great wide reciever and also very good looking!!!! He always has a smile on his face, which i love!!

A reliable player who comes through in a pinch. Also a class act. When holding out during camp he came back by communicating with his coach. He also got negotiations on his contract. Maybe TO and Randy Moss are a little better on the field, but if you have to fight with them to get them there then they do you no good!

Very smart reciever and capable blocker. Excellent at running-routes, catching in traffic, picking up yards after the catch, and shedding the jam... He does everything well. Plus, he's a great veteran presence on the field. I would take 1 of him over 2 Randy Moss's any day.

Great wide receiver. Good hands, great blocker, which proves he plays with heart, since that's more determination than actual physical ability.

Simply the best. Plays the way the game should be played. Consistent, tough and reliable. Class act on and off the field. Doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes.....

The toughest and best receiver in the league. Never drops a pass, doesnt complain, and blocks everybody on the feild. Gets up smiling after getting nailed everytime.

I love this guy. He will do anything just to catch the ball. He is hands down the best reciever in Steelers history.
