Ordonez really showed me something when he began to flourish again just when his early successes were looking to everyone like a fluke. A true comeback story.

Had a two or three year decline (yes, I know, injured) but on the way back to five.

Magglio was born to play baseball. After another stand-out performance last night against the Yankees I decided to look up his career numbers. Despite some recent injuries, you can't argue with this guy's stats: He's a career .307 hitter. From '99 to '03, he had 180+ hits per season. (Assuming he plays 160 games, he's on track for 200 hits in '06). When he's healthy, as he appears to be this year, Magglio hits with power and puts numbers on the scoreboard. He has 4 seasons with 30+ homers and 100+ rbi under his belt. With Ordonez, Pudge, and Guillen hitting the way they are, I am not at all surprised by the Tigers' early success this year.
