This product works well for occasional heartburn. Comes in two strengths. Fortunately have not had to use the higher strengh yet.

This medicine is awful. It did not work at all.I immediatly went back to Prevacid. Now I am on Nexium.

This medication worked well for one week for our eight year old daughter. Thereafter, it has worked sporratically (and yes we give her the prescribed dosages). It has also caused mental confusion, diziness, irritability, and depression. Our normally very happy child has turned into a complainer/whiner and is now unhappy. Today at the grocery store, my daughter was sitting on a stepstool with her fingers in her ears. When I asked her why, she told me that the yelling was bothering her. There wasn't any yelling! I strongly caution parents to keep a close eye on your children when on this medication, and please read the side effect warning.

This may sound odd, but my doctor, when I was having a severe allergic reaction to perfumed laundry soap, told me to take this, with my allergy pills, because it would absorb the medication quicker! Not sure why exactly, but it did seem to have a quicker effect.
