This is a great bank compared to other banks I've had. Easy access to accounts by phone, great customer service, and very reliable deposit standards (checks clear right away). Sometimes, we like to blame our human error on the banks for charging us overdraft fees (which I am very guilty of). However, this bank has waived a few of those fees for me and their always looking out for my interest instead of trying to make money off me like USBANK (WORST BANK I EVER HAD)

Website technology behind can not transfer money between accounts such as PNC and Bank of America. Also, bank is limited to one region of the US. OLD SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Best bank I ever had. If you are lucky enough to have one in your area, you might consider using them. Personal attention, total respect to customers, considerate, competent employees.

I had accidentally written a check to the IRS on the wrong account, they tracked me down and called me to ask if I wanted them to transfer the money from the correct account to the one I accidentally used.

Do you think that Skank of America or sleezy Chase Manhattan would have done that? Noooooo ---- they want the fees for overdrafts so bad they would like to make sure you pay as many as possible.


Bank of the West is not like the "too big to fail" banks who are taking handouts from taxpayers and then turning around and treating their customers like serfs.
