I use to enjoy Judge Judy. No more! It use to be she was so clever and a, "Tell it like it is Judge". Not anymore. She is sooo rude to folks who come to see her - that also help pay for her paycheck. She TOTALLY TAKES ADVANTAGE of those of less fortune and education! It is offensive to watch/listen to her degrade folks who seek her ruling on TV.

I can't believe that anyone would suggest that Jude Judy is anywhere near the same league as the professional and fair, Judge Wapner. This lady is seriously the WORST biased judge I have ever laid my eyes upon. Bar none. THE WORST.

I watched her show twice, decided I have much better things to do than watch a hormonal middle aged woman stroke out over nothing for 30 minutes at a time.
She is sooo goofy acting, it is annoying.

Judge Judy is a very bad person. She treats people like a dirt, for some reason she thinks that she is much smarter than everybody in the court room.

As a court reporter, I have to say, Judge Judy is a joke. No judge in their right mind behaves like that in the real world. It is nothing but sensationalism to get a rise out of people, an absolute joke!

While reading these 127 rating comments, I encountered into expression "bitch" maybe 50 times. I believe, that's exactly what she is: Hysterical, self-centered, and nasty bitch.

Her sow is a complete lie and scam. When I was on they trick me by the so called producer telling me she likes an arguement and to argue back with her. They also had false wittnesses on the other side and made up completely a lie. At he end they made sure you left right away and had security guards escorting eveybody out. Judge Judy is a genious with morals. Her lectures are fabulous to the mostly low-lifes that frequent these shows. Be prepared to be humiliated if you don't pay child support, don't pay loans, and do stupid dumbass behavior. You should.

I have Cystic Fibrosis and to the naked eye I appear to be completly healthy but I am unable to work all my medical problems are inner...so it makes me very angry to hear the best judge on TV to make comments to disabled people on her show like...well you LOOK healthy to me...does she have X-ray vision to. I think she owes disabled people a public apology, not all disabilities are visual to the eye.

Judge Judith Sheindlin is my all time favorite Television Judge! she means business and doesn't mess around with the crap people try and give her. "She's smarter than them on her worst day on their best day!"

The show is very interesting.  I suppose that's why it's been on the air for so long.

I wonder if the litigants are ever sorry after they've seen themselves on the program and realize that they've aired their dirty laundry out to the whole world.

One of the few judges on TV that makes people responsible for their own actions. She can be a little gruff but sometimes that's what it takes to get thru to some of the knuckleheads before her.

She's a power mad bitch who does nothing to inspire people to respect the law.  It's ALL about her not justice or the law.  If you want to watch something similar and enjoyable watch Judge Roy Brown.

That woman doesn't belong on the bench. I remember one episode where some kid was being sued for egging some neighbor's car...and Judy asked the kids' mother: "Where were you!?" and the mother said "I was sleeping"...Judy then replies "Were you drunk?!" Good God, it was 3am!!!!!!!!!! What the hell is the mom supposed to be doing at 3am??? Sleeping would be MY first guess!!!! Judy is a JOKE. But, then again....its sad that we live in a society now where family members/friends have to go on NATIONAL TV to confront one another, and make fools out of themselves. Look at the Maury show...eeee gads. Hmmmmm..."I slept with 18 different men and I need Maury to find out 'who my baby daddy is'" (By the way...I HATE that phrase...) But its really a joke. Talk shows, Reality TV....it has really gotten to be a joke! Anyone agree?!?!?!?

She is extremely rude and vile toward the people on trial. She only berates people for the fun of it, not justice. She only berates people to make them feel bad and give them such a low self-esteem that they feel like trash. Judge Judy also insults to make her self-esteem skyrocket. That is not what a judge should do. She also favors women over men, and she asks what people's profession is, and judges them. If the litigant gave the profession of doctor, she would be nicer to them and think that they are not criminals. If the litigant gave the profession of cashier, then she would assume that that person is a delinquent and is a screw-up on life. That is not justice. That is biased. One should not base whether people are felons or not based on what they do for a living, what their religion is, etc. In addition, she does not listen to the sides at all. She only lets people talk for a few minutes and shuts them up very rudely, and she would talk for the rest of the trial berating the plaintiff and defendant to no end based on what is on her mind. That is not right. She needs to open her ears and and listen to the whole story. A judge should listen and base the guilty on fact, not opinion. And she always says the same thing, such as grow up, and it gets old. And she said something about how drug addicts should be given poison needles and die. That is a sign of her psychotic mental state, and on the way to murderer. She, in her mind, is very immature and needs to change herself. Her husband and children must be making the therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists very rich with daily visits, because it would run in the family. Plus, her nasty tone of voice pierces my ears worse than a very high and loud Minnie Mouse kind of voice. And she acts like the people did something to make her mad when they did nothing at all. She needs to mind her own business and base the charges on fact, not ask all the personal questions like how long has one been married or such. By her attitude, she would find someone guilty of their religion. She needs to take a break and lighten up.

I do not think I would want to be in her court. she really blasts people. she gets awful mad at some of them.every now and then there are some people who have that tongue lashing coming{especially if they did something cruel to another person} I would stay clear of her.

Judge Judy is F'in BITCH! She is a bitter old prude that needs to take her menopause medication, laced with Valium!!! Just saying. I like all the other Judges, like my hero Lynn Toler...whom is reasonable, kind and spunky. Even Judge Alex that tends to be harsh is far better than her. He's only harsh because he is to the point, but he is fair. I do think she comes of racist and tends to be kinder to men. Maybe she's just trying to get some. OY!!! Let me just start off by saying that she only insults peope just to make them feel bad and develop a severe inferiority complex. How can anybody not love Judge Judy? I like her because she is fair and has zero tolerance for idiocy. We have become too politically correct and are afraid to say what we really feel. Judge Judy says it and makes it plain what she means. If I sue someone I would love for her to be the judge. either her or Judge Brown.

There is no question about her intelligence, wit or mental speed. Unfortunately there is also no question about her fanatical hatred of men. The only comparison that I have ever seen in 59 years is the (also sad) past situations where such intelligence also existed in the top ranks of the KKK or German Nazi Party of WWII. It is a VERY rare situation where she will rule against a woman over a man. In the past I would watch for the (hoped for) situation where the 'bad guy' would get her acid tounge whipping them. These days I just pass her show over with a shake of my head wondering what they must have to offer to any male to appear for her debasement.
Rating is 0 for men and perhaps 1.5 for fair minded women and a good 5 for women who want every man they meet to die.

She's probably the closest one, personality-wise, to Judge Wapner, but she's SO bitchy that she makes him look like a nice guy. She definitely has a chip on her shoulder and her attitude seems to get worse every day. It's unintentional comedy. She seems to be VERY knowledgable in the law, however, and she does a good job of putting people in their proper places. But because she has such little tolerance for ANYTHING, hardly anyone can express themselves fully. I would hate to appear in front of her whether I was in the right or not. The original People's Court (of the '80s) is still, by far, the best court show. This one, and all others, does not compare.

Judge Judy tells it like it is. She does not sugar coat anything. I think she is very fair, and I am sure she is sick and tired of all these girls who come on with kids from every boyfriend they date. Then they complain about the guy. Hey, they picked them. Whatever happened to getting married and then starting a family?? The guys are just as bad, spreading their seeds and not taking responsibility. Don't they realize, these kids are going to grow up one day, and have nobody to date because they are all related. NO, I am not an old prude, just a hardworking, educated 33 year woman who is sick of paying for all these babies. My husband and I will have a family, when we are ready, and not by accident.

People just don't like Judy Judy personally, and that's okay, but, from the 15th century when courts started, the Judge an the law were to be respected and that's what she demands, and I love her for it.

Okay I knew she was rude, obnoxious, and most likely a narcissist, but today, today she became the queen bitch, when she told a mother of five (who had grown up with an abusive mother), that she was a bad mother (based only on the fact she had a fifth child), that it didn't matter that she had been abused as a child, and that she didn't work (even though she cares for five children). According to Judge Judy anyone with a high school diploma or less is a complete moron, mothers who stay home with their children are sub humans who don't work and add nothing to society. Yes, we should all add as much to society as she does, we should all be rude, and never listen to others, we should all be verbally abusive to one another, we should all be bitter, judgemental, and self centred. This woman absolutely disgusts me, I just wish people would turn her off, so we could all just forget that she ever existed.
