An unforgetable part of the christmas'of my childhood. Own it, shared it with my son. Another generation of Magoo fan.

It didn't really knock my socks off, but it was good.

Magoo and crew will forever set the tone and ready our family for a pure yule, melodies floating freely. The simpler and sweeter, the better.

We, our 12 year old foster son, and his mother thought it was fantastic! Clean, good, entertaining family fun. We were all surprised at how much we enjoyed it.

Throughout the years this is (without a doubt) one of the best cartoons of the season. I'm only sorry it is not seen more often. The music and everything is great. It may have lost some of its color but none of its charm.

I just bought the DVD, and wait impatiently for someone to release a CD of the music. Okay, yeah, it's kinda cheesy animation... But it's also Jim Backus, who was one terrific actor. Tony Award winner Jack Cassidy appears as Crachit, and Jane Kean (one of the Trixies on "The Honeymooners") plays Belle. Story-wise, except for the omission of Scrooge's nephew Fred and sister Fan, it remains remarkably close to the Dickens. On top of all this, the composer Jule Styne and the lyricist Bob Merrill were responsible (together or separately) for the Broadway shows FUNNY GIRL, GYPSY, CARNIVAL and many others. It's some quality stuff, really.

Fortieth anniversary of this great classic coming up on December 19, 2002.

Mr.MaGoo's Christmas carol is by far one of the best holiday cartoons ever. I first saw it as a child,and I've loved it ever since. If your looking for a great retelling of a classic tale,look no further.

Forty years old and still shining like new.

A classic retelling of the story of Scrooge with the basically blind Mr. Magoo as Scrooge. A classic which never seems to be shown anymore. I haven't seen it in about a decade. Bring Mr. Magoo back!!

Pass the Razzleberry dressing, please. It just wouldn't be Christmas without Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol.

Oh that Skippy Magooo!! His crazy blind-man antics always bring a smile to my face and a hearty chuckle to my belly. This special re-tells and revitalizes the Dickens classic, 'A Christmas Carol'. It is a shame that Mr. Magoo's rickshaw dragging house boy does not get the opportunity to make a cameo appearance to silently save Magoo from an unbeknownst pitfalls in this Christmas classic. Such a shame...
