love the song and the video is really cool... i love all that cowboy stuff

Madonna really needs to get knocked down a few pegs. I'm tired of idiots like Britney Spears praising Madonna and labelling whatever she does as pure genius. Especially when Madonna has sucked harder and harder year after year.

A prime example of the pointless garbage Madonna produces now. I really wish she would go back to her old style.

I love the way Madonna "reinvents" herself. I think she is confident enough to be willing to show all her interests and not just stick to one side of herself. I applaud Madonna for showing people that we can be many things and not just one sided beings! I have to admit I was taken by suprise with the "cowgirl" side of her, but the music and video works for me. I like the toned down version as much as her flashy ones. If you haven't peeped this one, I suggestyou do if you want to see yet another page of Madonna.

"Don't Tell Me" has none of the strippers, flash or innuendo of "Music" and as such is disappointing for a Madonna video. I guess motherhood is finally wearing down Madonna's earlier reputation of being a sexually charged entertainer. Though it seems that Madonna's image is metamorphasizing yet again for the umpteenth time with the 'cowgirl' look and attitude, sometimes change isn't good. "Don't Tell Me"'s blandness is prime evidence of this. Madonna is no longer the innovative and daring artist she once was, today she's merely blended into the sea of all the faceless pop artists out there.

This video would be very poor if not for the music itself and the very tight coriography during the dance scene when Madonna is wearing that ridiculous looking outfit. I have nothing but love for Madonna but this video is kind of bland and disapointing. Still it is better than most.
