I am so glad I decided on this blanket.........it cost more but it is well worth it.......very soft and good quality but more than that it works very well, love the preheat feature.

I haven't had a single problem with this product yet, it is warm and toasty whenever we need it.
The extra, coloured panels you can switch out on the control is a little silly, but they are fine, unobtrusive and haven't caused a single problem.

I purchased this blanket for my husband who is cold all the time from taking blood thinners. It isn't like a normal electric blanket...it is more like a light weight throw. He turns it on high to warm up then turns it down to 3 or 4. It stays warm all night. When he gets up during the night the blanket is the same warmth when he returns to bed because it warms by the body temperature and not room temperature. It is the best thing I have purchased along the line of blankets. I would definitely purchase another one.

I live in frigid upstate NY and unfortunately my house has drafty windows. An electric blanket seemed the perfect solution. This blanket was inexpensive compared to others but I guess you get what you pay for. The blanket has a pre-heat feature that was pretty useless. It turns the blanket on to its highest setting for 20 minutes and then returns it to whatever setting you had it on previously. 20 minutes was just not enough to heat my bed. In order to have a toasty bed that remained toasty for more than a few minutes I usually had to turn the blanket on at least an hour before I wanted to climb into bed. The blanket takes a long time to heat up fully and when you turn it off becomes cold again very quickly. The fleece covering attracts all sorts of lint. I highly suggest getting a light color. This blanket is merely adequate for me. I've been using it all winter and it hasn't died yet. It claims to be machine washable but I am wary of washing it from what I've read in reviews.

This blanket seems to generate a little more heat than most modern "safe" electric blankets. I have to qualify that with the fact that I live in Hawaii and the lowest winter night time temperature is about 58 degrees. We don't have any house heating or insulation and do have high humidity so that compensates some. Also we have another electric blanket to compare it to. The preheat feature is nice. Warms up the bed and then comes back to the desired setting. It is an attractive blanket, doesn't generate surface balls, and is easy to spread out flat. It is one of the better ones out there and is reasonably priced.
