Though I think that Kornheiser is a crappy fit for MNF, he and Wilbon are always very entertaining. I happen to agree with Wilbon far more often than Kornheiser but both have very red, strong-willed and entertaining personalities. This and Around The Horn are two of the more entertaining premises that ESPN has ever come up with.

Good chemistry between Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon.

Best Sports show on TV today.

I like it. These guys are entertaining, and provide good debate and information.

Best Damn Sports Show Period!

Entertaining and somewhat insightful. Kornheiser is, by far, the schtickiest man in all of sports. Wilbon is a decent foil. PTI is actually much funnier than the awful show (Listen Up) that parodies it.
emj5687 05/04/2005
its a great show because theyre funny, informed, and not long winded. you never have to put up with a five minute tirade about one thing.
GB4Life 05/02/2005
The best on television right now cause it relates to the average sports maniac. Who hasn't sat around with their best bud and complained agrued about the things going on in the world of sports. Plus they make me laugh

Simply the best. There are a lot of imitators, but no show even comes close to this show. Let's run it down: -First and Ten: Skip Bayless and Woody whatever. Although Woody is somewhat entertaining, Skip is a pompous prick who has no personality. -Jim Rome: No comment (none needed) -Around the Horn: Alright, but too many people screaming at each other -PTI: The original. There is nothing annoying about these two. The trick is that they don't take themselves too seriously. Good insight that any true sports fan can appreciate.

I love to see Kornheiser and Wilbon go at it for half an hour. Hilarious
mtbmlb 03/09/2005
Wilbon and Kornheiser provide endless entertainment, but Stat Boy Tony Reali shouldn't be on the show.
Maineyak 02/02/2005
Terrible - Kornheiser is the self promoting Imus of Sports TV/Radio
Alexg681 01/23/2005
Not bad, but it is bad when they have to get a replacement, they always suck.
uneek 10/09/2004
I love this show, I just wish they didnt talk about so much basketball.
numbah16tdhaha 09/29/2004
Pretty decent if you can take the breakneck pace.
raclos234 09/04/2004
would receive a higher mark except: 1)when tony or mike are elsewhere they tend to get some awful replacement like bob ryan (who is TERRIBLE reading prompts and just plain boring). 2) the content of discussions suffer sometimes b/c ATR is before PTI and basically talk about the same subjucts (and opinions) a lot of the time. why watch the same thing twice? 3)PTI is BORING during the dog days of summer when either tony or mike (or both) are gone or just the fact u can only take so many segments on golf or tennis during that time period.

Bad to quick.

One of the worst sports shows to dummyes sitting around thinking thay know sportsd anyone could do that.
tintin38 06/27/2004
The best sports opinion show on TV. It doesn't provide the same info as Sportscenter but it's not supposed to. The opinion offered by Tony and Mike are both well informed and entertaining.
mrater 04/02/2004
Hands down the best sports and entertainment show on TV today, definitely worth watching.
Raider Duck 03/14/2004
With apologies to Fox Sports, THIS is the best damn sports show, period. Even when Mike and/or Tony is on vacation, the show always has good replacements. PTI manages that rare feat of simultaneously being fast-paced and in-depth. A credit to ESPN.

I have watched just about every show. Wilbon and Kornheiser have the best chemisrty in sports! Awesome!

Great show. This is the Siskel and Ebert of the sporting world. I'm not sure what it is about these two guys, but they are far superior to the Sports Reporters talk show, and they beat the Best Damn Sports Show hands down, even though Wilbon and Kornheiser are only on for a half hour. I think they have toned down the show a bit, and their "arguments" are a bit more scripted now than they used to be. I listen to sports talk radio all day at work, and this is the only show that captures the irreverent feel of a radio show without being overly silly like "Best Damn". I think this show works better, because they only have two guys bantering instead of a panel of 4 plus guests like other shows. Having too many hosts forces each to get "face time", and that can slow a show down if certain hosts aren't as skilled or quick witted as others. Michael Irvin (best damn) is a good example of that. Anyway, PTI is funny and compelling, even if I disagree with a good amount of their opinions. Great show, worth watching daily.

Sports writing has been going downhill for 30 years. . .PTI is great. It is awesome to watch a smart, funny sports shows with writers who aren't just hacks. Enjoy this show while you can because smart TV never lasts. . .
DrFeelgood03 05/29/2003
I like it, so does everyone else.
