I've tried many other places that serve fish & chips in the Phoenix metro area, and The Codfather is the only one that serves AUTHENTIC English fish & chips. Other places might have British in the name or might be well-known, but they just don't do British fish & chips correctly!! The Codfather does fish & chips like you would get from the village "chippy" in England - battered and crispy, not breaded like that chain place, gimme a break! They also serve excellent sausage rolls. Also on offer are bangers & mash, bubble & squeak and more, as well as British grocery items like Walker's crisps (but they also make their own and they're often at the bar during happy hour), chutney and other condiments.The Codfather also recently added a bar area by annexing the shop next door, so you can have a cider or beer with your meal. http://www.thecodfatheraz.com/
