 | Rock1234 (6) 07/09/2008 | Ozzy's solo work is very spotty but this is a rocking album with the great Randy Rhoads on guitar.

 | AutoJC (0) 03/22/2004 | Best thing about this collection is the entourage of musicians Osbourne got together. The band itself is a great improvement over the insipid Black Sabbath.
Osbourne still can't sing his way out of a latrine.

 | Captain (0) 08/28/2003 | People forget that before the days of "The Osbournes", Ozzy used to put out quality music. This is one of his best.

 | longleggs (3) 08/11/2003 | Probably Ozzy's best solo work. I think Ozzy has become somewhat of a joke now and his recent solo albums have sucked, but his 70's and 80's work was stellar.

 | DeathRattle (1) 08/09/2003 | It does not quite reach the same greatness as Blizzard of Ozz. However, Diary of A Madman is a good album none the less. Ozzy's same band lineup (including the great Randy Rhoads) from Blizzard is still together and still in full form. Classics run throughout this album just like the first one (Over the Mountain, Flying High Again, Believer). Some songs are just not as powerful as the ones in Blizzard and that's why it's not as great. Yet, the stellar musicianship and signing is still there. You won't be sorry spening your money on this disc.

 | Squrrl (0) 08/06/2003 | One of the Greatest Rock Albums of all time. The Guitarist Randy Rhoads and Ozzy did this album in 3 weeks which seems impossible to me for such a powerfull record. Also Tommy aldrige and Rudy Sarzo are not on the Album. It was the Blizzard. Bob Daisly on bass and also wrote all lyrics and Lee Kerslake on drums. This Album is a must have.

 | the transgressors (0) 04/30/2003 | For cheesy heavy metal schlock of the early 80's, this and Blizzard Of Oz were pretty cool. I remember liking Little Dolls(more specifically Tommy Aldridge's drum intro). It all sounds goofy and dated now, but it was cool when I was a kid. Ozzy never was worth a damn after the death of Randy Rhoads, not musically anyway.-- Johnny Roulette
