"A strong candidate for the designation of most thrilling action movie ever made (the turbo-charged exhilaration of its full-throttle highway chases has never been equaled), the second part of George Miller's post-apocalyptic trilogy is also a magnificently imagined movie myth..." - Amazon (Add picture)

One of the best of the series. Lot's of over-the-top action. Mel Gibson really gets into the groove in this film.

J.G. Ballard called this movie 'The Sistine Chapel of Punk' and I can't think of a better description. A weird, wonderful movie about people struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic wilderness. Great background music by Queen's Brian May, over-the-top acting by grotesque characters (A monosyllabic, mohawked, gay barbarian; a musclebound giant, 'Lord Humungous' who always wears a hockey mask; a wolf-like 'feral kid' with a very sharp boomerang...) and the best car/truck chase scene in movie history make this one of the best action-oriented science fiction films ever made.

consolidates a genre--gets a 5. Mel Gibson is in a post-apocalyptic Australia where gangs and loners prowl around trying to survive at the subsistence level.

This is one of my favorite movies. Action packed, the driving scenes are superb, and the whole concept of the end of the world is a nice touch. This Movie isn't anything more or less than you would expect it to be, in some parts it is very simple and in others it is hand to hand fighing. I think this Movie deserves 5 stars a true classic. I liked Mel Gibson's tone in his voice, so cocky, but so truthful Two days ago I saw a truck that would move that tanker, you wanna get out of here? come talk to me Brillant.

Very dark movie set in a post-apocalyptic future. Mel Gibson's wife and son get killed by a wacked out biker gang, and then he goes medieval on them. Fast-paced, entertaining, low budget film.
