The favourite birth control method of folks who like to gamble with their rent money.

My best friend fell for this method back in the 7th grade. She was young and naive. She ended up with HERPES and TRIPLETS. She almost died giving birth. It was her very first time having sex, and she was completely taken advantage of by a 18 year old ASSHOLE. She almost committed suicide twice, because she felt dirty and ruinned for life. So, little girls and ladies PLEASE BE CAREFUL. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. SHIT LIKE THIS REALLY HAPPENS.

The method preferred by 9 out of 10 porn stars. Don't work worth a darn in the real world.

It doesn't really work because you can till get pregnant from pre-cum, BUT it does feel the best. :D

Withdrawal method has Russian roulette odds for effectiveness and no shielding against STD's. If you're gonna play in what you don't trust, put Jimmy in a glove, at minimum. Best contraception is not to play at all, btw.

Yeah, and maybe also have the woman jump up and down when it's over. Newsflash, the sperm is present upon an erection. Your chances are lower, but still very finite. Plus, it sounds extremely frustrating!

I've been using this method for over four years with stellar results. My wife and I have one kid, and only because we got pregnant on purpose.

Yeah...I'd like to make a withdrawal. How much? About a few hundred thousand sprem cells. Seriously though, not effective enough and takes too much disipline.

For all you teenagers out there, this does not work. As soon a semen is released from the penis into the vagina, which in most cases is just about right away, there is a good chance that the egg will be fertilized, if one is available. If you wait for the last possible moment to Withdraw there is a very good chance that it is to late. Keep in mind this method does not protect you from stds and a terrible form of birth control. I hope Dentana reads this assuming she is not a 48 year old man.

this method hardly works, many many couples become parents (or worse, receive stds) because they are uninformed about the risks of withdrawal and too cheap to buy a condom.

Now how many men really have enough self-control to do this in the middle of an oragasm. Dont trust it. Many of us are here because of this failed method.

Yeah my sister used this method once and only once. She has a kid to prove it. After having one kid she didnt want to have another and got on birth control. Thats why I refer to it as the post-birth birth control.

this would not be birth control. Too risky. There would still be too big of an unwanted pregnancy.

What idiot put this down as a birth control method??? Considering there is pre-cum and semen can come out before the main climax, this 'method' is totally pointless. There is also the factor of the risk of catching STD's through unprotected sex. If anyone truely believes this is a way to stop pregnancy, they ought to go back to school and listen to what the teacher says this time.

If my choices were between withdrawal and abstinence, I'd choose abstinence. It is just completely against nature to pull out at the last second. It would be such a letdown after getting all worked up like that. Right before you ejaculate is the time when every force of nature and evolution is pushing you to go as deep and as hard as you can, and it really feels like a crime against nature to pull back and out. Also, the method doesn't work (I don't have first-hand knowledge of its failure rate, but science shows that there is still a chance that pregnancy will occur). Also worse than useless against STDs.

This is what is commonly refered to as an urban myth. I can understand people doing this because it's more natural but it doesn't prevent pregnancy or the spread of STD's.

I remember(not so very long ago, either) being a teenager and hearing about this.I remember thinking "How stupid! How could anyone believe that?" But now I am in a relationship and my lover is always trying to persuade me to have sex without a condom,he says it feels SO much better.Any pre-sperm(he claims) would not be enough to empregnate. The chance of that little itty bit of seamen reaching the uterus is barely calculable.

The most foolhardy means available. Withdrawal is a good idea if you're using other forms of BC at the time because it further reduces chances, but if that's your sole means of preventing pregnancy, you're a pinhead.

This is nothing more than a mere myth that so many teens today think. Even before an orgasm occurs, pre- semen is released. No protection at all against diseases.

I wouldn't count on it. You would still need a condom but then withdrawl wouldn't be necessary. I like to do it for entertainment purposes...I like to watch her go into a fit because I pulled out. Her whole body twitches slowly and she groans/begs and I tease and hold out until I say she can have more. Hey, it serves her right for being so damn difficult to get to that point in the first place. No, I am not mean!

As far as birth control goes, it's better than nothing, but that's not saying much; it's not very effective for birth control. Sex may feel much better without using a condom, but when you're worried about the risk of pregnancy, you'd be better off using more active forms of birth control.

STD's and a higher chance of pregnancy; this is probably the least effective way to prevent pregnancy. People hear that it has an 85% ability to prevent pregnancy, but that is not really very good. Remember it only takes one!
