PowerLine PPR200X Power Rack 5

I have had this for a while now along with the Body-Solid® Flat Bench (GFB350).

Take your time putting it together, don't over-tighten the bolts, and it will be solid as a rock.
It is about 6'10" tall.

I cut 2 foam noodles in half, and down their length. They fit over the saber-style spotter bars perfectly and keep the racket of clanging weights to a minimum.

I would also recommend adding olympic rings to the pull-up bar.

This is a sturdy rack, easy to assemble. Service was great from Amazon. All expectations exceeded. No parts missing! My only minor complaint was that if you assmble as directed, you will insert some bolts without washers. Now, MAYBE you don't NEED the "extra" washers, but I have found that washers protect surfaces. Not just for looks, but for integrity of the product, I went and bought 20 additional washers (.20 a piece at the hardware store) and I am certain that this was a smart move, plus the rack just looks more uniform with washers beneath each bolt. All the parts fit --but there was a distressing moment when it appeared the back cross section was NOT GOING TO FIT! YIKES! But I quickly determined that this was part of the structural design because one assembled the "offset" draws the rack into a tight, sturdy unit. This unit allows HEAVIER than normal lifts to be done SAFELY. Want to determine your MAX lift on Bench Press, Squat, or other exercise but have no spotter? This baby will spot you and spot you well! Also, you can do "partials" by setting the safety pins at different positions. Heavier weights means more strength, power and muscle! YEAH!! Great product for beginners or pros. I didn't get the Lat attachment but I will add that soon.

For the price, I don't think you can beat this rack. I lift in my basement which has pretty low ceilings. The rack fits perfectly. It feels very sturdy and can be upgraded with a lat/row tower (which I also reviewed). My only complaint is the same as the others: the painted liftoffs and support rails. Otherwise this one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Like the previous reviewer, I too bought my power rack from Jessup Gym (off ebay). The rack took less than an hour to assemble, and I have used it for the last 6 months. The paint peels off where the olympic bar rests on the dual safety bars - as expected - but I knew that would happen, so it's no big deal. I have put duct tape on the lift-off pegs as well as on the rear pillars - try it, it stops the paint from peeling and cushions the pegs. It's been a great addition to my equipment, and has saved me from being pinned under my O bar twice when I was block headed enough to put on too much weight!
