I enjoy Heidi, she has poise and gravitas. She never loses her poise, and she does not giggle. Why is it that most women giggle and laugh noisily and men do not?

I love the enigma of Heidi Collins. On one hand she is a prim and prober lady giving us the news and on the other she sometimes wears some of the shortest skirts on TV. she has killer legs, plain and simple

Top female news person in US. Great legs, and looks to have added a little to her bustline. HOT Smooth way of presenting hard news. Excellant coverage of the VT shooting.She stays behind the desk too much, SHOW those great LEGS!!  She just seems to get better looking after having the baby she looks wonderful. If you ever want to see what makes Heidi so hot just watch her on the TIVO 10-08-2008. Those eyes and smile and the way her top was pulled across her tits, she made my wife and I both hot, we had to get it on in the kitchen on the breakfast table we could not make it to the bedroom

heidi I think you are great sitting in front of the camera giving thenews; HOwever, I was disappointed and frustrated at your recent interview of the family from lafayette, Tn who lost their home after moving here from new orleans; you failed to address the MOM; that was rude and knowing that mothers are the heart of the home; ( I suspect you are not a mom yet) that would explain part of it; really heidi, it was hard to watch her ( the mom) being ignored as all other family members addressed individually.

Leggs to die for, doesn't matter what she's reporting on, although this fine attribute can be rather distracting.

Try closing your eyes and just listening to Heidi Collins for a while...she has magnificent clarity of speech, true empathy for her subject matter and a splendid grasp on the subtleties of newscasting.  I am a man and certainly DO appreciate her beauty, but c'mon guys - enough about the bust, the legs, the hair.  Listen to what she is saying and appreciate her for her newscasting talent.  I too loved her short red hair earlier, but sadly, she has probably changed her hairstyle to something more conservative in an effort to overcome comments like the ones below!  Keep up the great work, Heidi!

Heidi, Heidi, Heidi...............oh dear lord what have you done to your self? You were so striking when I first noticed you a few years ago and then you started this HAIR thing. Heidi please, please, please, look at yourself!!!! Ask other people!!! I'm not sure what your plan might be with the hair, maybe it's going to develop, but in the meantime you have taken professional, good looks and, well I'll be kind and say IT'S NOT WORKING!

Its sad when a reporter is repeatedly chosen for her looks over her ability to deliver the news. For Heidi's part she never broadcasts her good looks but works hard to produce good journalism through her style of reporting the news. Our society has a big problem with sexism.
Don't these characters realize that asking Heidi to show her legs, comments about her busts are sexist? I applaud Heidi for playing down this obsession people have with her looks vs. her professionalism.
If folks want to help advance a reporter's career we need more comments about her performance, not how gorgeous her legs are. After all she is not auditioning for Playboy. This is CNN.

I am very sincerely in love with Heidi. She is just gorgeous.

She's bright,engageing with real life issues which she faces with courage,and least but not all stunning. I wish I knew her.

I too think that Heidi Collins is the best person on CNN right now (as well as Anderson Cooper). She has natural grace and style, and is awsome at her job, no matter if she is on site reporting, filling in for someone, or behind a desk reading the news (same with Anderson Coooper, come to think of it). She is very classy. I am interested to read that other people feel the way I do about Heidi and that they too think that the moring show is not the same without her. I also do not like Soledad, there is something off about her, and Wolf - it's painfull to listen to that man for more than a few seconds. Somebody at the top at CNN does not have a clue, they certainly aren't tuning in to watch Heidi perform her job effortlessly while these other people are unwatchable. (And don't get me started on that horror Nancy Grace!) Wish you all the best Heidi.

I really like her. I wish I knew who does her hair, specially I like the collor. Plus that she is a very good reporter and make you listen to her.

Heidi is great, its a pleasure to wake up to her show. My greatest fear is that CNN will finally realise how unpopular her co-anchor (Tony Harris) is that they will eventually can both of them. Don't do that CNN, Heidi is great, just fire Harris, the sooner the better. If it must be a black man use Mr. Lemon or the TJ guy, they are both very nice. Harris is a creepy idiot, but maybe you think California doesn't matter, you would never put him on the East coast in prime time, so don't do it to us. We love you CNN, don't do the Harris thing to us.

Heidi Collins is babealicious and it would be great if CNN dumped Paula Zahn and gave Heidi that hour. When Heidi covers for Anderson Cooper life is good, but sadly that is the only time we see her. She needs her own show.

CNN has made a big error for not giving Heidi Collins more Air Time. I used to watch America Morning every day, but hardly ever watch since Heidi is not on. I enjoy catching Anderson Cooper if I know she will be on. Heidi is always so nicely dressed and so attractive. She speeks so clear and consise, and hardly ever faulters. I am one CNN fan you have lost.

We watched CNN regularily while Soledad and Bill were on, before Soledad went on maternity leave. Then Heidi and Bill anchored, and that was the best time on American morning. I'm waiting for the "All Heidi, All The Time" network. With apologies to Kyra fans, Heidi is the hottest redhaired newsbabe in the cosmos. I love her sly little smile and those gorgeous eyes.

No one probably cares; or may even beleive me but, in college I was taking a train ride from Bern to Marseilles and Heidi and I got to know each other over the course of several hours and two bottles of wine. One thing led to another and we shared a sleeper berth that was un - occupied. We kissed like lovers do but alas we help back our full passion and fell asleep in each others arms. We awoke and traded awkward goodbyes. Heidi - we shared a moment and it was great!

Heidi should be on more. She is subbing for Paula Zahn tonight. She is inteliigent, has a personality and is great to look at. CNN ruined the morning show by taking Paula Zahn to prime time and now moving Jack Cafferty off and letting Bill Hemmer go. It's time for a show with Heidi Collins and Jack Cafferty. Wake up CNN!!

I am locked on to any channel Heidi is on. She's intelligent with just the right amount of energy and wit. The shorter her hair, the more she stands out from the crowd of helmet head female reporters.

Collin, first and foremost, is credible in an incredulous time. With CNN seemingly writing off their white male audience to FOX "News," I find it amazing she doesn't have her own segment in prime time. Collins is sharp and intelligent, but one cannot help but comment on her appearance. Collins is a natural beauty. She's beautiful enough to get men to stop hitting the remote but not so beautiful as to scare their wives away; the girl next door comes to mind, and very "all-American" which you'd think would be a big plus with the rampant jingoism we're seeing these days. And forgive my frankness, but I can't for the life of me understand how CNN could pick the painfully annoying, emotionally vacant Soledad O'Brien over Collins. If they're going after the Latino market (maybe to offset Lou Dobbs daily racist rant) you'd think they'd have picked someone with a Latino surname and who actually LOOKS Latino. It's not like you can't find a beautiful Latina with a big brain; there are gajillions of them right here in LA. Sorry, but I see O'Brien doing CNN headline at best. Collins on the other hand is pure gold, prime time, the real deal, and just what CNN needs in their battle with the other two cable networks. My only guess is that they think she looks too young and won't be taken seriously, (seriously, HAH! from a network that gives the laughable Wolf Blitzer a prime slot) and if that's the case, they are sorely mistaken. Collins is the best and brightest CNN has.

I spent some time with Heidi and her producer yesterday in the CNN sat truck at ehe Houston Astrodome. She is working with us to report a Katrina-related story. I found her very honest and wanted all the angles before putting her report together. She was VERY nice and spent more time just chatting than looking for news. She is currently reporting in Houston on the Katrina disaster. She can be seen on the Anderson Cooper 360 show at 6pm CST. Obviously on CNN.

I'd switch to CNN just to stare at her face and yes, those eyes. Maybe the bosses felt she's too pretty...

Heidi was great working with Bill. Both are gone and the two that replaced them are certainly less than good. Glad I get Fox and MSNBC as both are now far better than CNN.

She's good, not great. Compared to Soledad O'Robot, she's better. But, at the same time, I found her to be just as boring as Soledad at times. More personality would make her top-knotch in my book. And, may I add, Hedi does have the best legs on TV.

Heidi Collin is the best!!! She should be an anchorwoman in prime time. I stopped watching American Morning completely after Bill Hemmer left. I don't know why CNN didn't leave Heidi and Bill as anchors. They were great. I hope CNN gets smart and give Heidi an anchor position as soon as possible. I also wish they would bring Bill back to the network. Did he leave on his own and was he let go?

Thousands of us still cannot beleive CNN's decision to let you go and bring back the boring Soledad?? What were they thinking?? This show has lost all of its credibility since you left it. I have to agree with LTD in IND.....when Heidi was filling in for Soledad O'Brien during her maternity leave, I thought her style and personality was a perfect fit for Jack and Bill. I too miss all of them. I don't know what it is with Soledad but she tries to come across as sincere when it evident it is all superficial. What have you guys done with the American Morning program. It is no longer my favorite spot for news.

Heidi Collins, Bill Hemmer, and Jack Cafferty made my wife and I constant CNN AM viewers. Now that all of them are gone I've switched to FOX. From what I've read, their removal from the show was to boost ratings vs. Fox. Sorry, this move has had exactly the opposit effect. Once again, the Brain? Trust at CNN proved their worth. Sure wish Ted Turner would come back.

I wish that CNN would have reassigned Soledad and kept Bill Hemmer and Heidi Collins as AM anchors! Heidi brought much more personality, comfort, and interest to the AM cast than Soledad, who is so full of herself. I think it is only a matter of time until CNN realizes that Soledad needs to seek other opportunities. We love you Heidi!

Heidi Collins is a FAR better interviewer and is MUCH more attractive than Soledad (and doesn't have that annoying chirpy chipmunky voice). But CNN constantly makes the mistake of advancing and promoting the wrong people. 3 hours of Wolf Blitzer every day? What are these people thinking?? Heidi's blue eyees could be the result of contacts but if anybody remembers a CNN anchor from the 1980s names Mary Alice Williams..that woman had the most creepy piercing blue eyes I've ever seen. And she swore they weren't contacts.

Heidi is tops in every way. I also think Soledad felt threatened. We just need to see more of this great looking and talented redhead no matter where she is used. Let's flood CNN with Heid requests.

I watch CNN morning for about 5 minutes and then I can't stand it anymore. Why don't the CNN head guys see this? What's so great about Soledad? Heidi is a top-notch reporter and deserves better. Heidi is exceptional and is a better reporter than Solidad any day. Her engaging personality and professionalism makes her a perfect cadidate to noce again take over the morning spot from Solidad. I wish she her success and hope to see her back where she belongs in a higher profile position, like morning anchor.
