 | gloydian (0) 12/08/2006 | If your tastebuds are not accustomed to a full-bodied scotch with all the smoke and peat flavors, FORGET this one!

 | jyhfeei (0) 12/15/2005 | Lagavulin rating in the 3's.......Crazy! This scotch is incredible. This is not a starter scotch as it is smokey and upon first taste can be a mouth full. Once acclimated, you will be impressed.

 | GenghisTheHun (173) 08/03/2005 | If you like Islay scotch, you will love Lagavulin. I wander among the various Islay scotches attempting to find something I like better, but I always come back to Lagavulin! It is strong, but only the real devotees of scotch gravitate to the Islay malts, so that is not a problem.

 | Marcus James (0) 07/19/2005 | This whisky, in my opinion, surpasses almost every whisky on the list. The archetype 'Islay' malt that makes me dream of home - Scotland, of course! A fine and noble dram.
