Dr. Cadera is a great surgeon, but he needs to pay attention to what his reception staff is up to. They are sorely lacking in basic customer service and patient follow-up. Right now, I'm waiting for a return call regarding a problem I'm having. I was told I'd hear back the day I made the call. Two days have gone by and still no return call. Even emergency calls seem to go unanswered. A call made by a relative for an acute eye problem was never returned. As a result, care was received by another doctor at another clinic. Dr. Cadera's patients deserves a more attentive staff. In addition to not returning calls, the first question out of their mouths when you call to make an appointment is how you plan on paying for the visit and what insurance you have. Not what the problem is or how they can help you. With that in mind, you know that their prioroty is payment first, patient care comes second.
