The Brander Vineyard 3

Brander makes some really good white wines. The Sauvignon Blanc Au Natural is especially good.

But the woman who runs the winery is pretty rough around the edges. I came in there with a group of ten, and this lady gave us a real hard time before taking our $10 per head for tasting. She bitched at us for not calling ahead, and said "it doesn't fly" for us to just show up. She then said we could stay "45 minutes, tops."

The visit was salvaged by a pretty cool guy who treated us well at the outdoor tasting place.

It would be one thing if we were there to freeload - but we paid this lady $100 and don't need to be chastised for being a big group.
