We built a new house, finally moved in May, 2008 having gone to Almvigs after shopping around for price and service. We really lucked out on both counts. Don S. was and continues to be supportive, friendly and persistent on our behalf with respect to every question or concern we can cook up. Having built two houses previously, we have come to appreciate that high level of responsible support as well as very reasonable prices on all. Everything was Gaggenau (except Bosch washer and drier): dishwasher, 2 large and 1 small fridge, large freezer, two ovens, one steam oven, warming drawer, exhaust fan, diva induction cooktop, coffee-maker - hope I didn't miss anything. Delivery exactly as promised, the inevitable hitches dealt with promptly and courteously - we would do the same again!

I was very pleased with the pricing and service from Almvigs. I did my homework before I went to the store and they were less expensive. I was advised to buy a less expensive washer/dryer because it had the same features as the expensive models but would save me money and could not be any more happy. I was also very happy with the deliveries and the drivers themselves. I will only buy from Almvigs. Keep up the good work.

Isn't it weird that all the 5 star ratings for Almvigs were posted between January 17 and 23? It's so odd that all the reviews seem to be advertisements for the store, telling potential customers all the great services available. This store has just given itself a few 5 star reviews and hasn't even made it look like real reviews - they all have major spelling errors, too. Also check out the other Almvigs listing under "Almvigs Ktchn Bath Home Center"- it has the same kind of bogus reviews all written between January 17 and 23 from different reviewers. How convenient that all these people reviewed this tiny store on the same few days! This is a perfect example of how dishonest this place is. Stay away from Almvigs! They will overcharge you, not deliver for months, and not fix anything.

I recently purchased 3 appliances from Almvigs. They also charged my card for the full amount without my permission and without delivering the item for 2 months (they kept telling me it was on the way). They refused to cancel the sale and were extremely rude. There is absolutely something very shady about this business. Avoid at all cost!

We recently got a quote from Almvigs that was pretty good, they told us that we would only need to put 50% down. we gave our credit card and got the receipt in the mail and they charged us the full amount. When we called to question this they threatened to cancel the deal. We didn't want to search again for quotes and we liked the deal, so we decided to proceed but they said they would have to call us and let us know if they wanted our business. So even though we have the quote in writing they wanted to back out because we questioned why they charged us the full price upon the initial order. Most appliance companies ask for a % down and the rest upon right before delivery. This company seems very fishy. Now we are in the process of getting our credit back and going somewhere else. My husband and I would steer people away from this company, very bad rep and horrible customer service. We hate to even give them one star!!

I went into thier new store the other day to brows, and was very surprised by the amount of proffesionalism and customer service. I got a great bid on my appliance package. I think I will purchase from them. Also, they are no longer located on Blakely. There is a huge condo there now, the new location is on 65 and Roosevelt, above whole foods.

I recently purchased a new washer and dryer from Almvigs, and I have nothing bad to say about the experience. The staff was always polite, and they arranged to deliver my W&D for free. They even took away my old W&D at no charge. They made it effortless, and I never felt I was being nickel and dimed. I had shopped around before going there, and they were able to beat the lowest price I had recieved, plus they didn't charge for delivery.

If you are thinking about remodeling your kitchen, I strongly recommend working with a designer at Almvigs. They made it so easy for us. They took care of every detail, from the functional aspects to the pretty ones! Our designer listened to us and helped us make the decisions that were right for our style, and budget. She even recommended a good contractor! Everyone at Almvigs treated us well, and our designer followed through to the very end. She even came to our kitchen party to help celebrate. When I am ready to redo my bathroom I know exactly who I will call.

I recently had my kitchen designed by the design team at Almvigs. They were so helpful and knowledgable on every aspect of my kitchen. They really listened to what I wanted. I would be happy to recommend Almvig's and their design team to my friends and family.

My mother was treated so well by the owner and staff at almvigs, they really went out of their way to help her out. As a 83 year old woman, she can sometimes be a handful, but they were great with her! I wont shop anywhere else for appliances and countertops!

They stand behind the products they sell, are knowledgeable and courteous and can beat most box-store prices

The staff at Almvig's is helpful, friendly and so service oriented! My husband and I won't purchase our appliances from any one else.
