It has been almost one year since our remodel was completed and we love our new kitchen and appliances (Dacor and Wolf) more than we ever anticipated.

Our designer, Lacy, did a great job, offering creative ideas for cabinets and tile. Our older kitchen was a challenge, and she rose to the occasion with a layout that works perfectly.

The pricing of our appliances was very fair, and the cabinets and appliances were delivered by Almvig's with perfect timing and care.

We live in Edmonds. If you do visit Almvig's and would like a customer reference, they will have our information because our kitchen is on their web site.

This review is unsolicited, I can assure you -- just passing on the good word.

We've used them on several occasions and they have always been great. We're greeted quickly upon arrival, they help us find the product the best meets our needs, then deliver the product on time. I am amased to learn that a couple folks out there had very different experiences.

The best remodel experience ever!!! Don (the owner) worked directly with us to ensure all the products were available and the right ones for us. My wife and I were so thankful we were able to find a place that had cabinets, countertops, appliances and sinks all in one store. Friendly service and quick deliverey. Thanks Almvig's!

I never, ever, ever like to rate companies poorly, and I hate writing reviews, but Almvigs simply delivered the worst retail and installation service I have ever experience in my 29 years in Seattle! Not only were their appliances overpriced by 20%, but the quartzstone counters they said would take two weeks ended up taking 2 months. The kicker is that the counters ended up being granite... which they originally said would not work with the edge that I wanted. The project is now well into month three and I still do not have a backsplash and cannot get an answer from anyone there who knows anything! I am writing this after being placed on hold byb them for the last 10 minutes with no response. I also does not help that the designer I'm working with seems to only work 3 days a week, with no help from the other staff during his off time. 1 star only because a half-star doesn't exist!

Isn't it weird that all the 5 star ratings for Almvigs were posted between January 17 and 23? It's so odd that all the reviews seem to be advertisements for the store, telling potential customers all the great services available. This store has just given itself a few 5 star reviews and hasn't even made it look like real reviews. Also check out the other Almvigs listing under "Almvigs Appliance"- it has the same kind of bogus reviews all written between January 17 and 23 from different reviewers (all with spelling errors). How convenient that all these people reviewed this tiny store on the same few days! This is a perfect example of how dishonest this place is. Stay away from Almvigs! They will overcharge you, not deliver for months, and not fix anything.

I was referred to Almvigs by a neighbor who had her whole kitchen done by them. I didn't need all that, just an update. I was able to get new appliances and a new quartz countertop from them. They made it really easy for me. They were even able to refer someone to come out and tear out my old laminate counter and yucky sink. The same man came back after the new counter was installed and hooked up my new sink and dishwasher. As a single woman, I had been worried about the work that was involved, but they were able to coordinate all of it for me and now I have a "new" kitchen!

I went into Almvigs looking for appliances, and was very surprised to learn that they have everything there. We ended up buying our countertop and plumbing as well as appliances. We had already obligated ourselves to purchasing cabinets from Canyon Creek, and I must say, I will never work with them anymore! I wish I had known they have cabinets at Almvigs, I would have saved myself alot of headache! Learn from my mistakes! Go to Almvigs first.

I had my kitchen designed at Almvigs, they were very knowledgable, and proffesional. They made what could have been a nightmare smooth sailing. My designer took all the stress out of my hands, she worked with the contractor to make sure everything was taken care of. I had a wonderful experience working with them and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to do a kitchen remodel.
