I would give five stars for the first half of the picture. The second half felt like the director couldn't get enough sick gorey semi-porn to satisfy him. I suspect drugs were involved in making this movie.

Fun exploitation film. Vamps, strippers, a reverse-border crossing, Harvey Keitel as an ex-minister. Quentin Tarantino as a sick pervert (which isn't really acting) Chalk this one up as one of CS's real dreadful pleasures. Oh, Selma Hayek (sp?) makes a cameo that would give a corpse an erection.

I know I've seen it but I cant remember...

I love Vampire movies. It didn't hurt that George Clooney was in this one! :)

One of my all time favorite movies!

Its pretty cheesy and that can go either way. Its fun and kind of over the top. If you want something not so serious, like Buffy the Vampire Slayer but bloodier, then give it a go.

The pioneers holed up in the fort holding off the Indians, er.... vampires is the theme of this flick. Hold it, let's thrown in some New Age Aztec mumbo jumbo. My eyelids are getting heavy.... ZZZZzzzz

It takes too long to get to the horror in this one-of-a-kind film, but when it finally comes around, it's gory and wild. I loved this movie. It's probably one of my three favorite vampire flicks. It's funny as well as greusome...I've never seen Cheech funnier in anything.

Not really scary, but the special effects are okay. The scene with Salma grinding around on the table is worth remembering although the plot kinda goes downhill near the end. Another Clooney movie that is so-so.

As a huge Q.T. fan I was a little disapointed.The first part of the movie dealing with on the run criminals who kidnap a former preacher and his kids to use them as hostages to cross the border is a bit boring.Once the scene shifts to the Titty Twister bar the action takes off.The action inside the bar reminds me of Dennis Miller's Bordello of Blood. A good movie but a let down to Rodriquez fans and Quentin fans.

The only thing scary about this movie is the fact that it EXISTS. It seems that you either love or hate Q. Tarantino's work, and I guess I fall in the latter camp. The gratuitous violence and T&A don't really do much, and it seems like the script originated from a role-playing game gone terribly awry. The movie doesn't just switch gears halfway through, it mutates into a really really bad vampire movie (not that I've seen many good ones, but man, this one is probably one of the worst). If you like Tarantino's stuff, this might be alright. Otherwise, I'd suggest a new movie.

What Quentin Tarantino was doing making this after Pulp Fiction is anybody's guess. It's not scary at all, and, in fact, it's pretty dumb.

When I rented this movie I had no Idea that it was about vampires. So I was very surprised. It would have to be one of my favorite vampire movies. Its a most see!

I love this movie, but it is NOT a horror film. I couldn't exactly classify it, but I sure as hell wouldn't put it here. It's more of an action movie with a sudden twist of sci-fi at the end. Well acted and funny.

One of the cooolest and dirtiest vampire films ever made! I love this movie for it's originality, brytallity and crudness. This film doesn't care what the hell you think of it. It is here to be here. To give those who love it pleasur and those who hate it emence disaproval. I marvel at the work that had to have gone into makeing a horror movie this inventive and frantic. Written by the master of original brilliant hardcore scripts and Robert Rodriguiz who is a fearless risk taker when it comes to taking on different styles of film bring this edge of your seat horror action extraviganza to life. I love this movie to death and find its unrelenting gore and humor a refreshing change of pace from todays Scream movies and I Know What You Did Last Summers. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Of couse, like most Tarintino stuff, it isn't for everyone.But those of you out there who can keep your minds open and like crazy,psycho,sicko horror films will adore it.

This movie was going pretty well, up until the part when they get to Mexico. They enter a nudie bar, and from there on, all the actors in the movie end up getting their necks shredded by vampires. I mean, even Nightmare On Elm Street has a few survivors...none in this movie!

I thought From Dusk till Dawn was alright. I wouldn't classify it as a horror movie but I found it to be pretty comical.What can I say? I'm easily amused.

From Dusk Til Dawn is like watching reruns of the HBO Tales From The Crypt series. It's usually nice seeing George Clooney act, but you don't even want to let him try in this because you know that he will flop. The film is about vampire hunters that go to a bar one night, and are seduced be vampire strippers, and they are held prisoners in the bar all night, and they might find a way to stop them.

Wow, what an awful movie. I mean really, really miserable. As shallow as this sounds, I rented "From Dusk Till Dawn" because the ads featured Salma Hayek dancing around scantily clad, and it turns out that was the only part of this movie worth watching. The plot is idiotic, the acting is worse than what you'd expect from bad TV, it's not at all scary, and the attempts at humor fall completely flat. If this movie was any worse, I could almost recommend it as something to laugh at, but it's not even bad enough to be good.

This is one of the worst movies I have ever watched. For some reason, I watched it until the bitter end. I guess I was hoping, praying, begging for a twist. I was thinking, there is no way that this movie can really be this AWFUL. The acting was a joke, the plot bordered on hilarious (not a compliment for a so-called horror movie) and the writing was a bomb from the very beginning. If you want to see a bunch of actors in their worst roles ever with really awful effects..go and waste a couple hours of your life and rent "From Dusk Till Dawn!"

I bet George clooney doesn't look back at this film too fondly, but all the big names have a few they would like to forget...
