07/08/2003 |  Ok, i know this rating seems a bit unfair. But i compare all parks to teh best. Cedar Point. The park is relatively new, so you won't get any old rides that some people may enjoy for the shere fact taht they are old. The park is based upon a canyon. yeah, a canyon. It's got some nice waterfalls. The rides are pretty good. Superman: Krypton Coaster is probably it's best. It's a B&M floorless. So it's smooth.. It is built on teh canyon so you go on and off of it. So it's fun. The layout is turn, lift, turn drop, loop, Up onto the top of the canyon, down, Zero Gravity roll, CObra Roll.. (two inversions) Brakes, Interlocking corkscrews End. The next best is Poltergiest, when you see it, it looks like, "what the heck?" Because it launches, then goes into a "speghetti bowl" type thing, so you can't really follow the ride. Best thing about this, it's got refitted with lapbars. awsome expirience. 60 MPH is it's top speed. it's fun. Then they have SCREAM! And S&S tower.. its' fun.. but nothing really special. And they have Rattler. One of the tallest and longest wooden coasters in the world. It's a wooden coaster.. so every ride is different, if you don't like it the first time.. come back in different weather and it shoudl give a very different ride. This park is pretty good. Got some family rides like Scooby Doo ride.

07/01/2001 | Awesome park! I have a season pass and I go every week! They have awesome rides such as the classic "rattler"! They have a beautiful fireworks show and awesome cheap concerts! This place is great!

03/29/2001 | The setting is picturesque. You can't find a better value. Luxury hotels in the area are reasonable and the rides are awesome. Must ride: Poltergeist; Superman; Scream; Boomerang and Power Surge (stand on the bridge afterwards for the full effect). They have live performances daily, four stages that I know of: Looney Tunes; Tejano; Rock&Roll and Country Western. Several lunch locations on site. I like the Buffalo Saloon but stay alert, cause your lunch may be interrupted by a gunfight or two. Don't forget to stop by the water park it's a lot of fun. To top it all off, there’s the nightly Boardwalk party and huge fireworks display at closing. Have fun!!!
