Just a bunch of insecure people, I mean kids that think they are actually rebelling against something. Well, that's a laugh. Thank you for supporting Hottopic at the mall. False sense of individualism.

For a while they really had it together but they really haven't had much effect on the world since they sacked Rome 1,600 years ago.

I don't have anything personally against these type of people; they're just a bit too dark and dreary for me.

I don't see anything interesting or attractive on this culture, probably because I have never met anyone in person. But I want to take the chance to show you something:This is how they look when Goths go to an official reception event with President Obama. For your information and for my shame this is Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero's family (Spain President) during a reception at the Metropolitan Museum in NY during last G-20 summit.

Could someone explain to me how goths and emos differ? From what I can tell they both wear black makeup, weird clothes, and generally need a haircut.

Definately lame.I once dated a chick who lived in the city. She was a coctail waitress/ameteur actress. She took me to some "Goth" club she thought was really cool.It was a cavernous place, with gloomy doomy music, over priced & watered down drinks, and a bunch of spoiled brats dressed in black, with black lipstick & fingernails (guys too) moping around and trying to look even more bored than I was.
