This store is excellent! Prices are cheap (!!!!!) and I always find great vintage clothing items. Even though the store smells interesting and the store won't always buy, the clothes are totally worth it! LOVE IT!

I really like some of the things in there. But it baffles me how rude their employees can be. Also, they say they look for "quality." Which I have been proved wrong about because there was a pair of nice animal print shoes with the toe completely run down and gross looking. Also, while they had that in their shop they turned down a 60$ dress I bought a few months ago because it had ONE piece of lint on it. Do they not wash or at least lint roll their clothes?I will not recommend this shop because of the rude employees. But if you just ignore them, then the store is O.K.

Buffalo Exchange, how much do i love thee. Foremost, the idea of recycling clothes really is "guilt-free" shopping. The workers are usually friendly and helpful. You can just find so much great stuff. Each store has a slightly different style, depending on their buyers. The one in haight is a little trashier. The one in the mission is more mainstream, but mixed with vintage. The one in Berkeley is huge! And their merchandise change quickly. I never know what I'll find, but I always find something that I end up loving. As for selling your clothes...you really don't make that much money. Maybe for trading, at least you get something back for your unwanted clothes. But I usually just take my junk and donate it to their bin.

I went to the Fullerton, Ca one yesterday and was completely disgusted. The service sucked. The people working were snobby. The clothes were not worth the prices. We called ahead of time and were told they were buying, and yet we go all the way down there and the girl doesnt buy anything from us, or the two ladies(both seperate parties) that were in front of us. There was no reason they shouldn't have taken some of the items as they certainly were all in great condition, all designer and name brand and 90% were purchased within the last 3 months. Sorry Fullerton but you didnt give me one reason to want to come back.

I totally love buffalo exchange!! The people who worked there were very cool and helpful. The prices are better than mall prices and the clothes are in great condition. Its usually hit or miss on whether I find anything but if I dont find clothes I will definitely be able to get some funky jewelry that none of my friends have! When it comes to selling your items.. dont. Just trade because you get 50% from your items if you trade and only 35% if you sell for cash. Don't expect a lot of money for your items because it is suprisingly low sometimes. I brought in a bag of stuff but they only took 2 shirts for which I got 7.50. Either way though, you might as well trade in stuff that you aren't going to wear anyway. It is a totally easy way to revamp your wardrobe. Also, try to go through your stuff BEFORE a new season. Like bring in tank tops in March, and hoodies in September. That is when they will be less picky about what they take becuase they are trying to fill their shelves for the next season. Happy shopping!

I have to say I'm not that impressed with the Seattle University Way branch, I have found some decent prices around holloween but the prices aren't always so impressive. as for selling; they're picky, and cheap, I've read a review about how they give you 50%...nope try 30% and some store credit..not too great and not worth the items for sale and I was selling new and barely used accessories. I must say the pretentious people working there ride my nerves, too cool to actually be cool. sorry, wish they were better, and it's really the employees that made the low rating. I do appreciate the charity work the company does, but I found that out by my own research not from the employees. love the company not the employees.sorry seattle.

A very innovative clothing store. Looking for treasures? Looking for considerably cheap, yet trendy stuff? Here's the store for you. The thrill of the hunt is also another reason to spend alot more time and satisfy that shopping addiction of yours.

I have been to Buffalo Exchange in Dallas, and every experience has been fun. I have a dress from there I always look good in and I'll probably never get rid of it. Their and atmosphere feel far more special then a typical department store.

I have a shopping problem...big time, and this place allows it!!! the clothes are very inexpensive because they are resale. However, they're also the newest styles and in great condition!! Not to mention the fact that Buffalo exchange also buys clothes from you, the customer, so you can MAKE money to shop with!!! I love this place, it is easily one of my favorite stores. Visit the website if you don't beleive me....Http://www.buffaloexchange.com
