06/15/2008 | I use this everyday before I put on my foundation. It makes my makeup glide on like satin. I have used it for 15-20 years. I am over 50 and I think it has helped keep my face young and fresh. I really do not have any wrinkles on my face. I believe that using St. Ives everyday has really helped keep my face wrinkle-free. I love it and will continue to use it everyday.

05/13/2008 | OK, I know this feels GOOD to use! But I have also read this puts mini-scratches into the face over time from the harsh, uneven edges of the shells they use. Over time, perhaps those mini-scratches could deepen and be not so pretty as you age. I swore off the scrubs for the most part due to that possible negative. Instead, I use a glycolic acid serum every other night before bed which is like a chemical exfoliation to loosen keratin plugs. If you are older like me and still have hyperkeratosis issues then try glycolic acid products which were recommended to me by a derm. For regular face washing, I'm in love with Purpose (soapless cleanser) you can find anywhere.

02/12/2008 | I dunno about this. When I use it my face looks fresh, bright and new, as an exfoliant it works really well. However I don't think it really does alot for my pimples. Then again I shower daily, use the apricot scrub every night and after I put on my prescription Ziana gel and I take Solodyn pill plus I use Neutragena face wash every morning after my shower and I haven't made a dent in the amount of zits I have. So maybe thats just me.

01/20/2005 | Ok, it is great for exfoliation, however it is made from apricot nuts, any scrub with the exfoliant derived from nuts tend to have sharp edges that tear pores, and aggravate breakout. Please stay far away from this stuff!

08/31/2004 | I use it every other two or three days. It works really well. I've used it for about 8 years. I discovered it during the very limited funds days of high school. I did see an article on Brittany Murphy last month and she uses it. :)

06/16/2004 | This works great it really gets rid of all the dead skin. I broke my arm and I use this on my face but I decided to put it on my arm after I got my cast off and if youv'e ever broke your arm then you know what is left behind and this stuff got rid of all the dead skin.

05/01/2004 | I use it about once every 10 days and it works wonders! It makes my skin feel so soft, and coupled with my daily use to SpectroGel, feels nice, even on those nasty zits. However, I personally don't use the medicated version because I don't want the salyllic acid to interact with the benzoyl peroxide I use, so I see no improvement in terms of just acne treatment. It'll sometimes work on helping reduce the swelling of just-under-the-surface pimples.

06/10/2003 | its good but it sonly helps prevent acne, not treat it..but it does have liek 2% salyic acid [ a important ingredient in acne fighting] i love using this in the morning and give a good scrub down on my face and feek fresh.

03/10/2003 | FIRST let me warn you...this scrub may look weird, but it works. It kept my face clear and even reduced the size of pimples. Plus it doesn't smell bad. The texture does take some gettin' used to.
