Some stuff is good or nice but unless it is on sale, many of the prices are not the best.

Marshall Field's offered a wide range of merchandise, in every price range, at a fair price.  Their sales staff were classy, competent, efficient, and would do anything for you. They also were very loyal and were treated well by the company - one guy in the Frango department was there over fifty years!  I could call my regular salesperson in bed linens at State Street and buy a coffee maker or bedroom slippers and have them shipped.  As soon as it became Macy's, the high quality store brands disappeared, the better designer lines disappeared, and anyone who knew what they were doing got pushed out. Macy's wants to give KMart service, KMart quality, and Marshall Field's prices!  Boo Macy's!

I got lost in this store lol. But yeah, they had some pretty cool stuff. Prices weren't too bad, but still too expensive for me.

Marshall Field might be a bit pricey but it's a part of chicago's history. It sells every product I can think of. Also it was the first store to have a restraunt that woman could eat at without a man. So if your looking for an intresting place to visit go to Marshall Field on State St. This store has so many things including a restraunt, viewing windows, almost all the clothes brands, kitchen supplies, and so much more. I hope you visit Marshall Field on State Street.

If you pass through Chicago, you must check out the flagship Marshall Fields on State St. This location has to be the most impressive department store in the country. Almost like a throwback to the old days.

When I think of Marshall Fields, I think of class and elegance. I love those stores. Although the prices on much of the fashion is a bit too high for my budget other stuff is just at the right price.

I love Marshall Field's. They have beautiful clean stores with everything from expensive brand names to fashionable and affordable clothing. I only wish they had more stores throughout the country.
