I just watch with the mute button on for Mary Hart's legs!!! Still sexy at age 57!!! Has  she found the fountain of youth?

Is this show supposed to be a joke? They analyze celebrity dresses and "bling." My favorite part is when a major event happens like Hurricaine Katrina they try to somehow incorporate celebrities into the news story. Bottom line the shows a joke.

This show used to be fun, now it is way too overboard!! Has anyone explained to Mary Hart that she is the HIRED HELP rather than the "star"???? She is no different than the lighting boy?? She for some reason seems to think that she is more important than those she is interviewing, and that she is best buddies with these people! It makes me laugh as I can see during the interviews when she tries to get too chummy with them the flash of disgust they get on their faces! Like they want some 55+ year old "shirley temple" look alike (what is up with her hair too--is she trying to look 6 at her age???) being best buds with them! Just a sleazy show now, and they critisize those ultra sleazy photogs chasing & bothering the 'stars' and yet, ET always seems to have cameras at the SAME place the photos are--go figure! I used to watch all the time, like I used to read People Mag all the time, now, I watch maybe once a month and have not read a People mag for the past 4 months, who needs it? Not interested in a bunch of spoiled bratty, drunken or drug addicted so called "stars" period nor the jokes that interview them! And the way they stretch out a single story, it would normally take 3 minutes, ie the death of Anna Nicholes son, well, they had to DRAG it out for like 15 episodes, what the heck?? How sleazy can one TV show be? How low can they sink? And blasting commercials for it day in and day out, don't need to watch it to see I don't want to watch the show, I can just tell by the commercials!

This isn't "news"--it's a celebrity gossip infotainment program.

Annoying, trashy and flashy all at once. I used to watch it, now it just annoys the crap out of me. I swear, it's more of a showcase for the hosts Mary Hart and mole-face lady Jann Carl and Mark Steines. At least every other episode there's a blurb about how they hosted some benefit dinner or awards show and intro it by saying "And IIII was honored to be a part of it!!" During interviews they flash back to show Mary's reaction more so than the actual person being interviewed, like it's all about them and not the supposed subject. I also hate it when they insist on calling the celebs by their first names like they're their best buddies: "We have the latest scoop on Brad and Angelina!" and "What Teri, Felicity, Nicolette and Eva wore to the Golden Globes!" and so on...ack! Enough already!

I suggested they add this one on cause I was interested to see if almost everyone thought the same as I do and you do. I does suck I watch it once and a while and it seems to be the same thing J-Lo and Friends what's new with them, they need new stuff i'm a soap opera fan and I never see gossip about them, they work just as hard to know. And Mary Hart is just to damn smilly all the time, to perky ew!!

Ten years ago, I would have given this five stars, but not now. This show is NOT what it used to be. For one, for a couple of days, they had been reporting on the Laci Peterson story. Since when is the discovery of a pregnant woman's rotted, didmembered corpse entertainment? Around the same time, Luther Vandross, an actual ENTERTAINER, had a stroke and ET never even mentioned it. Other things that bug me about the show include but are not limited to: overplaying the "Friends" theme, showing "sneak peaks" of shows like "Friends", "JAG", etc. every week(ever heard of TV GUIDE, ET?), constant Ben and Jen stories, doing the same stories every month ("diet obsessed Hollywood", "fat in Hollywood", "Naked News", etc.). I have to admit, I still do watch it, but only in VERY small doses. I'll get my entertainment somewhere else, thank you.

This is a fine program if you are interested in news in the entertainment industry. I'm not sure this should be under the category of News though.

Nothing insightful, newsworthy, or even humorous ever comes out of this shameless altar to the celebrity demi-gods. It's a misnomer to use the word "Entertainment" in the title, because it never is - or at least, it never is in the 0.41 seconds it takes for my eyes to gloss over from exposure to the synapse-frying levels of pure Hollywood schmaltz beaming at me from one of the generic anchor's radioactive teeth (which are only covered when puckered against the posterior of some actor from whatever release will next be parting the fools and their money).

Just another Hollywood leech that is afraid of saying anything other than glowing compliments. The only purpose that this and other programs like it serve me is to let me know a movie stinks when they have to sink to quoting "Fantastic!!! - Entertainment Tonight"
