This newly remodeled Irish pub had a lot more character before the remodeling. It used to have a Victorian feel to it, but now it's like any other brand new bland bar. It does seem that there is much more space now though. It's very bright for a bar, although I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. The food was excellent, the beers slightly overpriced for the Haight, and the service was ok. It seemed like there were plenty of tables in back still open on a Saturday night. So if you're with a group of people out in the Haight and don't want to cram into Hobson's Choice then this is a suitable alternative albeit not the best alternative.
