In most places in Latin America, the vast majority of medical treatment is administered by pharmacists. These people aren't technically doctors, but they know symptoms, and they know medicine.This is the system in play at Portales Family Medicine. Daniel Chan is the PA, but he seems to be running the whole show here.I've been in twice, and both times he has taken the time to explain exactly what the symptoms mean, and what they could be causing them. He doesn't seem to be in a huge rush, and he really listens to my issues.A visit to PA Chan is quick, efficient, and educational, and you usually walk out with the prescription you need (from Dr Pierce).Highly recommended.
