An exceptional masculine bourbon but is being over-hyped quite a bit. It's good but there are better bourbons.

This stuff is the shit. It's a smooth sippin' or mixin' bourbon. 5 years ago you could get this for bargain basement prices but people caught on and now it's appropriately (read: expensively) priced.

If they make it any better than this, I've never had it.

Love the product. Hate the price. I need to learn to loosen up and splurge every now and again. Woodford Reserve is such a good product it may help me learn to spend a little more, more often.

Woodford Reserve is why God gave us tastebuds.

Woodford Reserve is another one of my favorites. Smooth and sweet starting out and finishes with a nice peppery tingling sensation. If you like Maker's Mark you will love this stuff. A bit overpriced though

Woodford Reserve is a fine bourbon. It always goes down smooth.

I've never had it, but I bought a bottle for my little brother for being the best man in my wedding. He really likes it, and his opinion is good enough for me to give it four stars, even if I've never tried it. It is a bit pricy though.

one of the most sublime whiskies i've ever tasted. Dermot Cullinane,Cork Ireland

Woodford has an exceptional first taste with a slight, but not uncomfortable burn as it goes down the pipes. This is a great bourbon...regardless of price, and well worth to anybody who loves the drink.

thick consistency, great bottle, well balanced flavor, nice finish.... but it is over priced for real. $35 for a fifth here. though i am not too fond for bourbons it my 2nd fav bourbon.

Best tasting I've found anywhere. Well worth the $30-$33 shelf price. No need for anything else but a rocks glass and a few cubes of ice.

Flavorful but a little harsh. Elegant bottle. I think a little over priced.
suthrnfrdguy 12/13/2006
i give this a 4 because although it is a very good bourbon, the price is a little high.
abac33 08/20/2006
Motherfucking delicious.

very nice taste....smooth enough to enjoy on the rocks or with a twist of something. Pour, sit back, sip and enjoy!!

Very good, I switched to this from Makers Mark as my everyday. My favorite is still Blanton's, the best I've had.

This is the best tasting bourbon I have tried with the exception of Bookers. It has a very smooth even flavor that does not rough up the palet. It is great straight, with a dash of water, on the rocks, and even in 7UP ( I know that is almost blasphemy, but on a hot day after cutting the grass it tastes great!). Most of my friends love this bourbon which is why when I have a party I pull out the Ridgemont Reserve ( I can go through 4-6 1 liter bottles in a night) because of the cost. I reserve my Woodford for special friends and special occasions. You will not regret sipping, drinking and enjoying the aroma of this bourbon.

Woodford Reserve has recovered since the addition of pot-stilled whiskey produced in Versailles at Batch 90, but avoid the batches from 30-90, when the brand had to compete with Brown-Forman's new Birthday Bourbons for the so-called 'honey barrels'.
denz0 10/26/2004
Great nose, smooooooth finish. Price a bit of high but well worth it.
ekalrairb 10/19/2004
Ho-hum... way over-priced. Go with Jack Daniels or the Old Grand Dad instead!

Woodford Reserve is definitley one of the best bourbons around. We went for a tour of their distillery the day after Thanksgiving 03. It is located in beautiful Kentucky horse country. The aroma of the barrel house is intoxicating. Please never mix anything but a splash of water or ice with a quality bourbon. Had this for the first time a few weeks ago. Very good.
froggy10 03/18/2004
Ya, pretty good bourbon, especially since they've started the pot still version in '03. Underappreciated at this point.
thebc 02/10/2004
The best of the mid-range bourbons. You can pay more if you want, but in terms of quality it is hard to beat.
4Horseman 11/04/2003
Very nice, but without question overpriced.
