I decided to try Primanti when I was at school and my Dad came with me. He had heard about their sandwiches and I had seen Primanti numerous times on the Food Network. I got a turkey and cheese with fries and slaw. I will say it was pretty good. I hardly noticed the fries in my sandwich, and didn't think any of it was odd. I don't think I would be eating a sandwich like this everyday, but it was tasty!

Legendary, yes. Only enjoyable if you're a glutton or really drunk. Service is nearly always atrocious since most of their customers are just as drunk as you. The fries are always soggy. Their sweet and sour cole slaw may be their only redeeming feature. Messy fun, but not much more than that.
