Comfortable might be a good word for this one. A softly sweet whiskey that even the most tender pallet can enjoy neat. Definitely a safe choice to keep in the bar for a relaxing drink with a few friends.

Tullamore is a good whiskey but a little too bland for me. Prefer a bit more balance to my whiskeys but definitely a great whiskey for Irish coffees and cocktails.
There are better Irish whiskeys out there so keep looking.

better tasting than jameson smoother than bushmills

I really have never seen a bad Irish Whiskey in the USA, and Tullamore Irish Dew is good enough to recommend on the RIA.

Decent Irish Whiskey but not the caliber of Jameson or Bushmills but I won't kick it out of my flask either.

Another good one in the low end of Irish whisky. Slightly more flavorful than Bushmills.  My mother bought me a bottle for Xmas, as good as any of the $20-$25 per bottle Irish Blended Whiskeys. I have to say I have not had a bad Irish Whiskey of the brands that we see in the U.S.

Just tried this for the first time and I've got to say, I'm quite impressed. It's not a whiskey I would have thought of buying, but I saw it on offer and decided to give it a go and I'm glad I did. For me, not quite as good as Jameson or Bushmills, though not far off. It's very smooth and easy to drink. A very good Irish whiskey (like there's a bad one!).I'll definitely buy more. A double thumbs up.

Jameson is smoother but this has more of a grain taste with a little more honey. Not bad at all and I would buy and will buy another bottle.

Not bad. Better than Jameson, in my opinion. Quite nice if you like the Irish whiskies.
