The Walters Art Museum is the internationally-renowned collection of William and Henry Walters, which was founded around the early 1900s. Fifty-five centuries of art are on display here, ranging from ancient Egypt to 20th-century Europe, with countless gems in between. A recent renovation has greatly expanded the museum, and placed many objects in view that were previously unavailable to visitors.
