I've never 'worked' the position but I helped....once. I have experienced a job that might top them all but I did not see it on the list. Roadkill recycling: I grew up in Georgia and there was a job where you'd drive around (with a partner) and pick up dead animals, return to a 'recycling plant' and process them. The processing was the exciting part! First, dump what's left of the critters in a large bin that is used to chop them into various peices. Then, you would push the parts out into a smaller chopping machine, then into an even samller one and finally into a compression unit used to press the liquid out so it could be processed and shipped to manufacturers that use that type of 'ingredient' for their products. At the end of the day (8AM) you'd clean the equipment which included a bonus - prying bones and 'getting sick'....all the games that the rednecks play.

I've done this, for all of 6 hours before I walked off the job site. The foreman yelled at me and told me if I quit before the shift ended they weren't going to pay me. I told him to keep his money, and provided some additional storage instructions for it, and kept walking. Life is way too frigging short for this.
