The series is bad but it still deserves 5 stars.

01/07/2005 | This what a great kids film should be. The comedy is pilled on and the animation is fantastic. The fast pace of the comedy is rare for Disney, but they really got it right on this one. The backdrop of Elvis classics makes for a perfect Hawaiian atmosphere.
Best Scene: The Trial at the beginning.

08/28/2004 | This was an okay movie. It is about an alien who is on the run. he comes to earth and disguises himself as a pet. he is adopted by a girl named Lilo. It was good as a rental movie. I would reccomend to rent it before to buy it.

12/09/2003 | This is one of Disney's weaker animated films in recent years. The characters in the film are just not that enduring. Lilo would be the most appealing and realistic. She may act like a brat, but she was just a lonely mixed up kid. The social worker as a secret man in black agent was a little bit funny but got old. Finally Stitch was rarely appealing except for a few moments. I would rather have a pet porcupine. It's not totally unwatchable, but it's not a Disney gem either.

10/08/2003 | My best friend got this movie for her birthday and it was the only movie she would watch for about 2 weeks but it is a good movie and Stitch is one of the cutest characters I have ever seen, this is a must watch film.

12/20/2002 |  'Lilo and Stitch' was the first animated Disney feature I've been to see at the cinema in quite a few years now, and it really hit the spot! It wasn't brought to life in anything close to the acclaimed 3D eyecandy that seems to be in vogue, but instead opted just for simple but beautiful and highly vivid animation that I liked it all the better for. The story too is simple but powerful, dealing with some very complex issues as well as managing to keep you entertained for every moment that passes - an ammoral and destructive little creature on the run from the intergalatic police takes refudge with a lonely little orphaned girl, and the two each make their own individual discoveries, which carry the poignent messages of the importance and love and family, even 'broken' ones. The soundtrack is almost exclusively Elvis Presley, which sounds pleasant enough, a welcome variation on original songs sung directly by the characters. The best Disney film in a decade (that's right - it's even hotter than 'The Lion King'), and a wonderful experience to sit through.

12/18/2002 | Although touted is a comedy, Lilo & Stitch, while amusing at times (Cobra Bubbles, anyone?) with slapstick and references, is mainly a drama, in the classic Disney fashion. The animation, which many reviewers panned, is great in my opinion. While the cast has no big names, the acting is spot-on. Recommended.

11/16/2002 | Better than some of the other animated movies Disney has come out with over the last few years. What happened to movies like Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin? Pixar has saved Disney and this movie doesn't come even close to Toy Story 1/2 or Mosters Inc. However, it is watchable.

11/13/2002 | I saw this with my flatmates kids (and I was just as excited as them about seeing it as I knew about it ages b4 it came out)
I regard this as a very endearing tale about learning the meaning of 'family'. This is something that some people has pushed aside. The main crux of it is that Lilo's sister is very close to losing her because there are rifts between them and social services are there keeping a very close eye on them.
Stitch is a very destructive force at first as thats what he was created for, but then he sees the effects of what he does and realises that its wrong. They have a new family unit after that.
I absolutely love the soundtrack as its mainly Elvis and for the first time in decades they used watercolours to do the background animation.
I sulked when i didn't get to hug Stitch when i saw him at EuroDisney!!!!!

08/04/2002 | I have a family member who is infatuated with all Disney animated features, so I see them all. This was not one of Disney's best. It's a silly story about a creature (Stitch) that is created by a mad scientist. The creature comes to Earth and is taken in as apet by young Hawaiian girl (Lilo) and her sister. (Credits to Disney for making a featured girl who looks like a regular person) It's the story of people from some other planet trying to get Stitch back and the problems that Stitch causes to Lilo's sister. STUPID!
