What? Raymond and May made life easy? That is crazy talk. Rashad lead the league in points per game his sophmore year. Carolina actually plays like a team, unlike Duke, Wake, or NC State. They all are good at what they do, and no body makes it easy for another person. Rashad might not be the best player at Carolina, but he was certainly good enough, so nobody had to play better just to make his life easy! That is crazy talk, Carolina's a TEAM!

Asheville, NC to the fullest. Shad can flat out play. He's a defensive glove and can score at will. I remember him on the playground back home and playing at Clyde A. Erwin. Shad has always had a knack for drawing negative attention but he has always risen above it. Fact of the matter is he was the best player in the draft pound per pound. To bad he couldn't have been at Charlotte, NC. He, Felton, and May could have been the trifecta the Bobacts have dreamed of. He made the all NCAA Tourney Team, all Final 4, etc. Made the biggest game saving block in Carolina history vs. Wisconsin in Elite 8. He dominated Illinois in the first half, thus being the sole reason for large lead at halftime. I think his lowest point total of the tourney was 16?, and he averaged about 17. In other words, damn right we would not have won it without him. But, we still beat Dook without him. HA HA! Oh, and NC State, and Maryland.

McCants is amazing. UNC would've never won the title if it weren't for McCants.

Ok now... I met carolina bball team and spent most of the day with them on tuesday... and i just want to say that if any one thinks that those guys are stuck on them selves then y'all need to think again.. I have never seen young guys that are as nice and respectful as they were. they took time out of there stressful finial four week to talk to us and take pics., eat lunch with us, and invite us to a live interview session. Even the Freshman Marvin and Quinton were so nice they were like pros with the whole fan thing.. and if ne one wants to say ne thing bad about McCants dont say it to me.. He has been through a lot with his mother and her having breast cancer.. and his sister she is going to be a unc next year playing for the girls bball team and she is just as good as he is if not better.. and i think that if he were to go pro next year then the tarheel team would not be as good as they are this year! Go heels win that national championship!

How can anyone say that Rashad McCants is overrated?!?!?! He's the unsung hero of the Carolina defense, and it showed when he wasn't there in the last four games. The guy has lost 15 pounds due to a combination of stress and what appears to be the flu. He comes off the bench today and drops down 3's like nobody's business... But then again, that is the phenom known as Rashad McCants. He talks crap sometimes, but hey, he can usually back it up. And to all those commenting on looks: GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree McCants is a good player and has stepped up to be a leader this year! Im looking forward to Duke and UNC playing again I think its one of the better match ups this year...yes Dukes done some stupid things the past couple of games...but thats something we have to take and leard from unc on the other hand has stepped it up (good job) thats why I love to watch Duke and UNC play becus even when one or the other sucks they always play their best or worst but it always usually evens out to be a good game! so props to yall and to all my UNC friends!

A guy can have all the talent in the world, but if he's going to complain about how nobody loves him and nobody understands him, he'll be nothing more than the next T-Mac, not the next Jordan. Tremendous athlete and scorer, but doesn't rebound, doesn't get in the passing lanes, and doesn't seem to care about anything except putting the ball in the basket.

Mccants is an unbelievable offensive talent. In terms of offensive prowess, he is uncomparable to any other player in the country. He is the one player that every coach preps for. He scores inside, he scores outside, and will lead carolina to teh final four. As of this year his defense has been intense, and his attitide great, if this continues, we are looking at teh national player of the year and a top 5 NBA DRAFT PICK. (dont agree, remeber ben gordon went 3rd last year.)

He's not a superstar...yet. He reminds me of a young Vince Carter, even the way he carries himself. I expect big things from him next year. He just needs to work on his D and he'll be a complete player.
