We used to catch Madrigal 7-8 years ago at Cobb's and the Punch Line in San Francisco. When he gets his long runs going it is absolutely stop-you-from-breathing type funny, the type of funny in which you beg for a break. His bit on "Big Brother" should be looked up immediately. I like him so much it is probably a little bit weird, in fact I still have my "Fresh Robots" shirt from his early team comedy attempt, and it continues to be awesome. We are friends on Facebook.

Al Madrigal is funny. His debut comedy CD, "Look at My Beaver!" has some very funny material. Some of that is in the album "Half Breed" which is available on iTunes.

Al grew up in San Francisco and is half Mexican. He doesn't speak Spanish -- in fact, he went to the French International school here. As a result he doesn't really fit into any particular category, which is perhaps where a lot of his humor comes from.

Some of his material is about babies and young children, which I can really relate to right now.
