It used to be that they were just incompetent. Now they purposefully have sit it up so that there is no way to contact them. You cant call, email, submit tickets or even fax them anymore. It is even impossible to contact their sales department. I cant cancel our account, yet they keep sending the bills. They have basically turned into an Internet scam!

I dropped them in late April, after a 38 hour outage on my site, and an earlier 5 hour outage. Their availability and customer service really went downhill after Tina sold the business. It took 6 weeks to get a refund, despite their "money back guarantee". They tried offering me 3 months free, I said I wouldn't take it if it were 3 years. I switched to AxisHost.com, owned by the former owner of AH. On a Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend, they had me up and running within 30 minutes.

They lost all of my SQL databases after a 2 week down time to change servers, then managed to loose my entire site one week later! They advertise a phone number and live chat support but all you get from the phone number is a recording and the live chat is never working. There is no way to talk to live person and my help tickets have gone days without a response!

Hosted a number of sites with them for several years with no problems, but lately it seems like they are falling apart at the seams. Had an outtage for several days starting last week. Sites were recovered and live for barely a matter of hours before everything crashed and burned. After another outtage of several days, all site data was lost and has to be uploaded again. This presents additional problems as subaccounts to VPS accounts need to be reconfigured before the server can be accessed by FTP. A very unpleasant experience. They offered to extend duration of hosting service through an extra pay period, but I will certainly not risk leaving my sites with a host that can let such problems go on like this without resolution.

I love Tina and Affordablehost.com I have had my account there for close to 3 years and I'm very satisfied with it.
